The Brood are like the greatest trio ever, would have destroyed the Shield  8)

Triple H and Orton speak for themselves, probably the two greatest ever
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

This shouldn't be as close as it is!

My team is littered with great technical ability and a generous helping of titles between them.

Who hasn't watched omega and been impressed with his ability and aura?

Who hasn't watched Seth Rollins and been impressed with his raw athleticism?

Who here didn't laugh their asses off to ko and y2j this past year?

Who didn't get butterflies when Benoit finally won the big one and celebrated with Eddie?

Nothing else can be said that hasn't already about aj.

Do the right thing vote for the phenomenal team and the phenomenal one!

My fav wrestler growing up.

Very close this thread.

In a close contest Sgt Slaughter will probably hit the others with a chair while the ref is distracted to get the win.

Exciting stuff. Some of the kick outs are ridiculous though. Who's gonna kick out from a piledriver from the turnbuckle?? :o a German suplex over the top rope ffs!! ;D

I would have known all about those Japanese dudes in me younger days without actually seeing them fight. When i was a nipper i use to buy the pro wrestling magazines and others. It was the only way to keep up on all the other territories and keep tabs on wrestlers that had disappeared from the wwf and wcw. I lived for the ranking system ;D

memories flooding back there mate! As a kid, I lived in Liverpool and my dad lived in London so once a month I used to do the train down to London on my own and I would read PWI cover to cover, every single word. The only magazine i've ever read where I never skipped an article. Loved the rankings too.

I love that German spot.

Ibushi is a madman, I dunno how he isn't crippled, lands on his neck constantly - he took a burning hammer in the WWE Cruiser tournament, I'm pretty sure that move is banned.

He's apparently from a rich family, so he was happy turning down a WWE contract and he just works where he wants.

They were amazing. Following wrestling was a different game back then. Magazines, crappy video recordings and hearsay on the schoolyard was all you got. Magical stuff. The little crumbs you got led some wrestlers to become almost mythical in your thinking.
Not like today were everything is available and streamed within seconds. I'd imagine it's not as magical for the younger crowd

Yeesh looks rough. I could happily watch Japanese wrestling more than the wwe, if i decided to get back into it. The crowd in Japan always seem a lot more invested

As a kid, I was always a bit confused by the house show results that used to be in the back of the magazine. Always loved boxing aswell and I could never quite get my head round how my favourites at the time, people like Thomas Hearns, Nigel Benn etc could only fight once every few months but the wrestlers could beat the shit out of eachother 4 or 5 nights a week. Who knew it wasn't real!!!
