Tape over socks is a fashion thing pretty much.

Agreed, that stuff is brilliant for reducing swelling. I know all too well seeing as I have torn my ankle ligaments and fractured the bone way more times than anyone should possibly be able to!

Pretty sure the question about the 'tape', i always thought that he put anti-blister socks over the footy socks and then taped over the point where the blister socks ended. If you look closely, its deffo not tape.
