That's not their away kit for next season. Adidas are doing retro's , it will be available for purchasing, but Arsenal won' t be wearing that

Forget the money, I don't want Adidas or Nike anywhere near us. New Balance have hit it out the park for three seasons now so will be happy with them.

Jesus, Adidas have really allowed the design department go free-range on this one.

And all the world is football shaped, It's just for me to kick in space. And I can see, hear, smell, touch, taste.

:puke2 The badge is awful, & shirt looks like a weird shade of red, more magenta, is it me or the Adidas retro range shirts, are miles better than the actual kits.

Apparently rumours going around Arsenal away, said to resemble there 91/92 away bruised banana kit

Obviously most sponsors look shite on kits, ours included, but that Chevrolet one is one of the worst offenders. It just takes up so much space and the white writing looks jarring with the rest of the assets on the kit being black. At least standard chartered have let us use whatever colour we needed for the logo.

That's a horrible top.  :o

I agree on the sponsor. The Chevrolet badge is pug-ugly on a car, and even worse on a shirt.

I thought the real version of the Chelsea top may be a little more subtle. Obviously I was wrong. Hopefully won't be seeing Hazard in it next season anyway.

Yeah, me too, I like the fact we're different from most other teams and I've loved most of the homes kits and some of the mad aways.

In fairness NB have had a couple equally bad kits (the ones with all the weird graphics over them).

I just think Nike will produce much larger quantities of kits (instead of us consistently selling out NB kits) and they'd produce better general apparel and clothing.

Historical kit apparently, with bunch of elements from their 99 season.

"The club badge on the left chest of the Manchester United 2019-2020 home shirt is surrounded by a badge and colored black and gold - this style is inspired by the 1999 Champions League Winners shirt".

The problem Adidas have with that Manchester United shirt is the same problem Nike or NB or Hummel would have. Someone sold the front to Chevrolet to put a gigantic polychromatic logo and text right on the tits for (I'm guessing) the biggest amount of money ever spent on a shirt sponsor.

There's really not much you can do working around that whopping multi-coloured car advert. More than the simplest details or ideas and it's going to look weird.

Adidas are running out of ideas, some bang average kits

Bayern

https://www.footyheadlines.com/2019/05/bayern-munich-19-20-home-kit.html

Real, away

https://www.footyheadlines.com/2019/01/real-madrid-19-20-away-kit.html

I like the Bayern one, reminds me of the Russia Confederations Cup kit. Must be hard to come up with something original without going into really odd Warrior-type territory.

Technically it's not the correct season for the anniversary shirt either, should have been this season as it was 98/99, not 99/00 :lmao, going to be funny seeing them wearing that shirt in matches from 1st January 2020 onwards.

sadly, this is becoming more and more commonplace in smaller leagues. Teams just don't have enough resources to compete, and in some cases they barely have any to sustain themselves, so they're pretty much forced to take shitload of sponsors just to stay afloat one more year.

And attendances are small enough so they're not really a lifesaver - either the team is located in a small town compared to other, more established teams, or they don't have enough supporters. Corinthians doesn't fit any of these criteria but I assume their finances aren't doing too good if they're resorting to plastering their shirt with all sorts of sponsors.

Why do German teams have the team name on the back of there shirts?

Because they have to. It's a league rule, Bundesliga teams have to have the club or city name on the back of their shirt - either above or below the number. But of course, for European games, they have to have shirts without the club or city name, as per UEFA rule!

Next season, Dortmund are going to switch around the order, they are moving their players name to below the number, and the city name to the top.

Anyway, a new shirt, but only a short term one, Bayer 04 Leverkusen's throwback shirt, that they will wear tomorrow:

I see, so that's why Bundesliga clubs tend have a separate European kit, it seems a pretty daft rule though, imagine the Premier League having a similar rule, & we have to have Liverpool on the back of our shirts, i know Arsenal shirts late 90s had there Gunners nickname on the back.
