Don't touch this one. People got it a while back, and from the images they showed, it's close, but it's not the same design as the official one.

cheers for the warning ;D

Can anyone tell me what the Champs League patches & printing are like on the Jomzajung shirt?

Thinking of getting the home shirt with all the works on it. 8)

It's been said before, but to reiterate, the printing and patches are shop quality.  Don't worry about them.   :)

Although I'm holding off on that aspect until we announce Keane's squad number.   :P

Yeah I might have to do that too! Was gonna go for Gerrard8, but Keane7 (or 10 if we sell Voronin or shift him to 64 ;D) sounds like a great plan.

I wouldn've read through the thread, but it's 67 pages & I wouldn't know where to start, lol! Thanks for your help mate. :)

thats like buying a bs shirt imo.

Aye, kind of agree with you VK.  I really like the German away shirt, but with us not having any German internationals in the team currently to justify it, I've resisted buying it.  :)

I'm having a hard time convincing myself to buy the Real Madrid shirt too, coz I'm usually dead against buying any merchandise for teams we could play against in Europe.  It is very nice though and soooooo cheap at Jomza....  :shocked3

Ah well, it's our home shirt next for me anyway, probably with the Adidas numbering, if that's what we're using in Europe this year.  :scarf

I don't think that should ever matter. If you're a football lover and you like a specific shirt (other than your bitter rivals of course) then it's cool IMO. I got the German away shirt because I liked the look of it. It's a nice shirt, plus Didi is a legend for us, so....

Did you know, the reason why the German away shirt is green (usually) is because it's a mark of respect for Ireland for being neutral during WW2 and that Ireland was the only team to give them a game after the war?

No, not at all. It's just a bit of useless knowledge. It's not like I'm a Germany supporter anyway. I just got the shirt because I thought it was nice looking and it's red and black anyway, not green. Reminds me of the old Ajax design from years ago.

Seriously?

That has all the qualities of an urban myth, but interesting if true.  What colours did they use before WW2?

Why wouldn't they wear the blue of Italy (their ally)? Or the red of Switzerland (also neutral)?

Nothing like getting an everton shirt, imo.

Fuck right off. Coincidences are happening often to me now, maybe they are re-occuring glitches in the Matrix or something.

My step-dad explained that exact same thing to me, about 3 hours ago when we were eating tea. Never knew about it before. Basically exactly the same wording as well insane.

For a second there I thought you were having a go, until I read the rest. It may or may not be true, though, but It's what a mate told me a while back. Turns out Ireland were only the first non-German speaking country to play them, but the thing about the neutrality could be true. It's also a fact that Ireland were sort of Germany's ally at that time, but I'll not go there.

Ireland was an ally too. Sort of. It's also true that Hitler liked to holiday in Cork.  :o :P He liked the Irish Wolfhounds, so I hear. Apparently they gave him more purchase and were better than sheep.

I know, I was wary of starting it off with the "fuck right off", but made sure it was an insult at the world and it's messing with my brain, rather than you.

It really is mental, he's had well over a year of knowing me, and numerous football chats, to tell me that fact, but ends up doing it on the one day that you post the same thing on the forum I visit, on a thread i usually sift through and don't pay attentiong to, and within hours of you posting.
