It's really great, it seems Ray Winston based his entire career on one of the older lads and should be paying him royalties

Pretty good documentary to be honest as Panorama usually is.

Yeah Billy Plummer and his mates look funny but hey that was the 70's. Every fucker looked like that.

I remember watching that in the 70s - it's a very authentic history of the time.
The biggest laugh in our school was the fella with the shades whose coach broke down.
But I'd have sworn there was more, or a sequel?

Watched it this morning, and it really is. A couple of things I hadn't really expected: how beautiful those dilapidated old grounds are in the sun, and with a ruck going on; that the social club band seemed pretty decent; just how empty the Saturday afternoon motorway to Bristol is; and if I'm not mistaken a burst of ynwa from the Millwall end, possibly with club-specific words, at 27:20.

I remember watching that on telly back in the day. Everyone in school was going on about it the next day.

If I recall correctly, Harry the Dog was one of their nutters at the time and featured in this documentary. I'll have to watch it again for old time's sake.

Imagine Justin Bieber in the Salford hat on the last page in this thread running into Harry the Dog and the Treatment boys. I think even now as old men Harry and the boys woulde see Bieber and his crew off.

A weird scene is the one at 17:30, where the bloke who fucked off his own wedding to watch Millwall introduces his younger brother, who talks the talk but whose body language is pure Are You Being Served? They're like a John Bonham/Marc Almond supergroup, only both of them sound like Ray Winstone.
