Corner by Gerrard and Soto is pushed as he climbs up to head the ball coming into the box...calls for penalty..referee waves play on....!!!

Diouf always appears to be looking for silly spats with Carra..it started in the first half..it's carried on into the second...

Lucas, Raul and Maxi have been outstanding thus far in the match today....Torres has looked dangerous and lively...Gerrard and Cole probably having their best match this season thus far and Carra not really being troubled all that much by Diouf...

Frankly, Blackburn have been very disappointing.

61:00 Benjani gives away a foul on the half way line quick restart and Gerrard finds Maxi on the edge of the box but he's muscled out of it and it's cleared. Reina gets it back to the half way line and Torres with a great bit of skill gets past blackburn and tried to play in maxi but it's dealt with and fall back out to Torres who works hard for a corner

Liverpool are playing with a swagger...confident..passing the ball confidently with ease...not giving away 2nd balls' as much as we did for most of the season thus far...

You wouldn't recognize this Liverpool side and frankly, we have been waiting for the team to finally put in a sound performance..but still, it's only 64 minutes..anything can happen..but Liverpool need ANOTHER goal to finish Blackburn off.

Benjani looks dangerous whenever he counter attacks with pace.
