Inter, Valencia & Real Madrid (-1), at 5.96.

Also had a double with Everton and Sunderland, which would've payed off big time :(

There is money to be made on X Factor. Judges comments, running order and overall performances allows you to know who has been overprixed in the elimination market

I put £5 on Aiden leaving. He was 25/1

Have a look on Digital Spy the morning before X Factor Results - they've usually got the order right, and have heard a lot of people making hundreds of quid through that. Will book mark DS and have a look next week.

Hong Kong Open in the golf this week.  I've Done Marcus Fraser and baby Italian Matteo Mannasero both EW

My reasoning hasn't paid dividends lately but for the record. Both players very accurate off the tee and both pretty handy with the putter.

According to last years winner Gregory Bourdy, this course doesnt play that long  but has tree lined tight fairways making accuracy off the tee a big bonus.  Reading the Greens on this course is also quite difficult according to Greg.

Nope. I've noticed a shit load of corners for Barnet though. They must be getting battered or something. Still seems a little weird. They were 1.10 to win the first half at 1-0 at half time.

Romania v Italy
Match Betting
Italy   2.10

Northern Ireland v Morocco
Match H'cap
Morocco   1.50    +1

Sweden v Germany
Under/Over 1.5
Over 1.5   1.33

England v France
Under/Over 1.5
Over 1.5   1.40

Italy are overpriced here. Romania's midfield will get absolutely dominated by Aqua and co.

Morocco - Northern Ireland have had 14 withdrawels for tonights game. Morocco have some very talented players with Chamakh, Taarbt etc.

Over 1.5 in Germany - Expect this to be quite free flowing. Germany have Ozil, Cacau in form, Sweden have a few withrdrawels.

Over 1.5 in England, lots of players out to impress, Talented forwards on both sides.

As always, be sensible betting on friendlies chaps. Small £50 multiple on the above, returns approx £250.

Hennessy Gold Cup on Sat, and after cleaning up on Denman 4/1 last year thanks to Phil and Kauto Stars withdrawal, I can't help but think 5/1 is a very good price for a class horse?

For the people who like to know these sort of things, Neil Robertson is currently stuck on a train on his way to Llandudno for tonight's Premier League Snooker.

He might not arrive until 9:30 so will have no time pre-match against Murphy.

Murphy's 6/4 (he might be better elsewhere).

How do you rate his early chances at this stage? I read something about handicaps or something earlier.

I've backed it in a double with Silvianco Conti in the Ascot Hurdle this Saturday at about 32/1 or something. He's up 8lbs from last season and with the mark he's on, he's going to have the majority of the field running from out of the handicap (the weights are compressed between 11-12 and 10-0, so anything that's running off lower than 10-0 in theory, carries 10-0 in practice - if you need a more detailed explanation I'm happy to provide it. Long story short, most tof the field will be carrying more weight than they should). That makes life difficult for the other horses as they have to perform above their normal level to even have a chance, never mind win.

It'll be very interesting to see what happens with the horses out of the handicap though, if the second season chasers have improved considerably over the summer, there could be a handicap snip out there even though they're wrong at the weights. I'll have a better look at each horse at the 5 day stage if you want and do a little blurb on each horse and price the race up properly on Monday or Tuesday, or on Wednesday night during the Cricket.

At this stage, I'd take the 5/1 though. As I can see him going off shorter.

Tottenham @ 5.20 is great odds in my opinion. Arsenal haven't been playing great, before the Everton match, and it's a derby so I think it can go either way. But I favour Tottenham to win this with a Bale on top form and V.D.V.

Quick question. If I place a bet on a horse eachway before the race and places were 1/5 with places 1,2,3(8 in the race). However beforehand one of the horses refused to run,was at the start but just refused to budge. However the started didnt call it a non runner and the horse was deemed to run. Now the bookies has decided to say there no longer paying out on places 1-3 and calling it places 1,2 at 1/4 odds. Can they do this? If 8 ran, surely it has to be 1,2,3?

Sounds shitty that, but I imagine they'd have something in the Ts and Cs which lets them off.
