Gotta say I absolutely hate betting on games in the first few weeks of a league season. No consistency, players are still building fitness - it's shite. Think I'll widen my search away from UK leagues for a few games, there's a few leagues that are at their mid-point elsewhere, has to be better value.

I was reading an article before the start of the season where they had a super computer simulate the league season 10,000 times to see who were statistically favourites etc.

In the premier league, of the 10,000 simulations only 6 teams ever won the league.

In the championship, every team won the league multiple times apart from QPR, and every team got relegated at least once!

Yeah I can't find the bloody article now but they basically said based on the 10,000 simulations Swansea and Ipswich where the two outsiders most likely to come up.
