The Playstation state of play was rather great I thought - the starting game was an odd one to show off first (Baby Steps) but looks fun, and you just know it will take over twitch for a couple weeks. 

I thought it was fine for a SoP.

I watched some gameplay footage of this and thought it looked kind of 3D

Read a few reviews and it's described as 2.5D    Sounds fair, to be honest.

Think I'm gonna go with this.  Or might splash out for the latest Crash Bandicoot (4).

Those PS Plus price hikes are ludicrous, mine expired in about March and I didn't renew, I'll just use my Xbox or PC for online play.

Went with Crash Bandicoot 4 in the end JK.   Completing each level is quite chilled, but It defo becomes a real challenge to collect all gems on each level. 

Will play Yooka-Laylee next.

Made the Mrs an account on the PS5 as well and I thought she'd have to pay for games I bought digitally on my account but she can play them all which is awesome, I thought I lost that ability when I moved from disc to digital only so was a welcome surprise.

Currently we have a PS5 at home, and one of the kids is getting one for Christmas. She currently has an account on the PS5 here.

My understanding is that to allow her to play the games purchased on my PSN account (and vice versa) I need to…

1. Log into my account on my PS5 and disable console sharing
2. Log into my account on her PS5 and enable console sharing
3. Log into her account on her PS5 and disable console sharing
4. Log into her account on my PS5 and enable console sharing

Is that correct? If so, I’m still left with 2 more questions…

a). If I’m playing a game I purchased on my PS5, can she play the same game on her PS5 at the same time?
b). Will existing users on my PS5 still be able to access my content as they do currently?

A) Yes

B) No - Because your PS5 is no longer the primary PS5 associated with your account.

Pretty much yeah
They get saved to your Library, which is tied to the PS account, so as long as you're using the same account on the PS5 you can log in and download and play them again

It'll be easier if you move those to an external SSD (or even a HDD) if you have one and just plug that drive to the PS5

I'll see what I can do, but honestly I don't mind losing the progress or whatever, it's games I haven't played for months.

Yeah I fucked the digital off, bought disc version with EAFC and Nickelodeon kart racer for £409 so thought would be a decent bundle.

Will sell the controller as brand new and try to get £30-£40 back

It still looks like fuck all, it's still the ugliest console ever, I think people may have preferred the form factor to be smaller vertically, rather than slightly narrower.

Are you trying to download the PS5 version accidentally maybe?

Cyberpunk had a free update for PS5 so should work. When you go to your collection click it and it will take you to the store page, then go to the three little dots and "select version" should see PS5 there

Tried the 3 dots thing, it doesn’t have the option to download. It says unfollow, wishlist, personalized setting and health rating etc
