We have seen Gerrard, Rodgers and everyone else say that this year the dressing room seems different, there's a lot more optimism and team spirit present in the squad. I feel Kolo Toure plays a huge role in that. He seems to be that sort of a character that everyone respects and brings a team together. Its really amazing how quickly he has become of the Liverpool family and how people just love him. It is his spirit and determination that we saw in the first 3 games that fills me with so much optimism and belief. Just glad, we made this move for him. Better late than never!

Kolo, Kolo Kolo, Kolo Kolo, Kolo Toure!  :scarf

Would be absolutely massive if he could make it for Sunday. I would be much more confident in us shutting down Van Persie.

Rodgers pretty much confirmed what has already been said.  He's recovered well from the injury and club will assess over the next 24/48 hours to see about Sunday.

Same for Joe Allen.

Can't believe he might play on Sunday. Thought he was gone for sure with a groin strain.

Unless it's not a groin strain as initially thought. Or unless the horse placenta worked faster than anticipated.

I'm quite suspicious that this is tactic aimed at United, to get them to set their team up as if Toure was starting (Benitez did something similar a few years ago, putting an unfit Gerrard in the PL match day squad just before a CL game against Chelsea).

I know this is going to get me abuse, but I don't see him making the squad at all on Sunday.

He's great isn't he?  Absolutely loves it here.  Unlike some big players looking for a final pay day it's clear that for Kolo the football is what matters.  He's having the time of his life on the pitch, enjoying every second of his footie.  Love the guy. :)

Surreal this. I'm going to pull my groin(no not having a wank) to see if I'm not dreaming.

Came up with this in the queue in Tesco today, to the tune of Pretty Woman:

Kolo Toure
As you walk on by
Kolo Toure
With your shorts too high
Kolo Toure
No one can look as good as you
With those tackles that you do

Do do do do do do do do
Do do do do do do do do
Do do do do do do do do
Do do do do do do do do

Whoaaaaa-oooooooh
Kolo Toure
Sit down, shock is better taken with bent knees.

Think it's quite clever how the club hasn't come out and said he'll definately be fit/out for tomorrow.

Means United have only an hour to prepare to face him if he is indeed in and could see Moyes change his initial line-up slightly to accomodate.
