Kind od forgot that there is a reboot of this amazing series coming up.
Anybody else a fan of the Thief series?

One of my fav games of all time is 'Thief : the dark project''...Happy this is coming out but not loving what they've done to Garrett in those shots, clearly channelling Assassins creed.

There are other worrying aspects as well, like the introduction of some Pipboy like HUD system that I can already forsee making the game easier and less immersive. Might be decent though so worth keeping an eye on as it's a special series dear to many.

Well dumbing down in one way or another is the norm now when rebooting. Or when making games in general I should say.

Hope not.
I think they've done a decent job with rebooting of Deus Ex so I looked forward to this.
They should just pump some money and work towards being the first major stealth game on new consoles, it's a safe bet really.

Ordered it the other day, loved deadly shadows and loving the look of this.

Think they've got the atmosphere spot on however one thing i'm disappointed about is they haven't populated the world, there's no real threat of being caught except by the guards/maids/butlers ect. No citizen threat.

Yea i'm not getting it now neither.

I'll wait till the end of March to buy my first games since release and get Metal Gear Solid, Infamous & Dynasty Warriors.

Makes me laugh. Always live reviews slating games, I tend to enjoy the game a lot more then.

I agree that he can't get a huge amount from watching only but there are still a few concerns there

Unfortunately, an average score isn't going to make people buy the game with all the upcoming games in March.
