Could be an abdominal hernia with that description...  would be very painful too.. but an easy fix.

People have gone fuxking stupid in here.  He gave an interview, people read the headlines rather than the interview and have somewhat misquoted him.

What happens?  People are throwing him under a bus and making up shit saying he didn’t tell the club in order for there not to be a replacement signed.

Firstly there is zero evidence that he didn’t tell the club.  This is malicious crap made up to undermine our own player based on the back of nothing.

Secondly we have absolutely no idea about the issue or the severity of it. It could be a few days or a few weeks.  No one on here has the fair idea.  But due to being complete fuckwits, some have decide it’s very serious.

I wish some would actually back out players.  You’ll never walk alone?  Some of our fellow posters wouldn’t even back our players if they broke a fucking toenail.

Exactly right and this thread should be closed until we have confirmation.

Seriously though, it was selfish of him not to report the injury in timely manner. Also if Croatian sources' claims "Lovren feared Klopp would buy another CB to replace him" is even slightly true, he deserves a fine for sure.

How long are we talking about here by the way, did Echo give any timetable?

How the fuck would Croatian sources know that? Could you link me to the source so I can rubbish it off?

I've just removed ALL the Lovren shite from this topic.

Can we try and not be knobheads and accuse players of lying until we actually have something from the club. Klopp has said he's been carrying this injury since last season and he should be back in a few weeks. Sorted.

Definitely. This should sort everything out. All the shite.

Klopp

“He is not fit. Let me say it like this, last year he already had a few problems with that but he could obviously play - and played really good."

So, the club and Klopp clearly knows. It's a just a health issue that's 'escalated' now and he will need a bit of time. That is all. Nothing to see. When Lovren said that the club is disappointed, he obviously meant that the club is disappointed he won't be available for sometime (just like everyone, fans included will be disappointed if any player gets injured), but people filled it up on their own as 'club is disappointed with him' bollocks which started the whole shite. Anyway, that's the end of the bollocks, ye all.

Mignolet has withdrawn from the Belgium squad due to injury, BUT should be fine for the Spurs game so don't panic about it.

Quote
Simon Mignolet has withdrawn from the Belgium squad due to injury.

The Liverpool goalkeeper had been called up by Roberto Martinez for the friendly with Scotland and subsequent UEFA Nations League tie against Iceland.

But the injury has ruled Mignolet out of the fixtures with his country. The 30-year-old is expected to be available when the Reds return to action at Tottenham Hotspur next weekend, however.

Brewster should be back in December, per the Guardian

Was hoping the December return rumours meant that he'd be fully fit and ready to be involved in the first team for the period towards the end of the month, but reckon that seems a bit soon for him if he's only just back in training for December, given the length of the time he's been out. Hope I'm wrong, as those fixtures would probably be his best chance of game-time this season.

I personally think it’s highly unlikely that Brewster will see any 1st team match time if he isn’t back before December.  He’ll obviously need time to get fitness and match sharpness which generally takes a while.  I would assume that he will be training with the 1st team but playing matches with the U23s similar to what Woodburn did last year.
