mulleted larikins

:lmao

In other news covers are coming off. No overs lost..yet.

I guess a no result would suit England nicely. Though that will probably be unlikely. With potential DL connotations in play would NZ have been better off chasing?

EDIT: Now overs are being lost.

Nz won the toss on an overcast day where rain is forecast and they chose to bat? Seems odd.

Yeah big dolly. Great fun watching him bat. Just swings hard and the balls goes is various directions.

Cummins must be furious!

100 for Williamson.

100 from 96

New Zealand 254/3 (39/46 ov)

The Broom is going too slow. Get him out and bump Corey Anderson up.

299 then. Sri Lanka will be happy considering they were 180 odd for 1. Tough ask without Matthews to get these runs. But a chance.

Ha! Bit of an old skool containing performance from SL with none of the quality needed to knock the batsman over.

If the skipper turns up we'll get over the line. Otherwise, the expectation for the tournament is: avoid wooden spoon.

Just need our bowlers to go the job, think the batsman let themselves down a bit, other than Amla of course.

I expect your bowlers will get the job done, but it's scorching today in south London. SL are usually packed off before June when we visit so it's as close to familiar conditions as we'll ever get to see in England.
