They'll likely get champions league football next year because of City's expulsion, but they are a million miles off from challenging for the title.

I really don't want them in the CL next year though - a few Thursday nights to mess up their league fixtures would be rather nice. Having said that, I'd rather City were banned from the CL for their cheating.

It's the first time I've been on the caf since lockdown... boy are they buzzing over there.

3rd best squad in the league.
Easy run of fixtures.
Only 3pts behind Chelsea.
Star players all fit.

They've been in such brilliant form, better than they've had all season so there's no way they'll not qualify for CL next season.

I hadn't realised they'd been playing whilst everyone else has been in lockdown. They kept that quiet [emoji16]

I still feel bad for Fred - whenever he is subbed off he has that look of sadness like he knows that the game us up this time and there is no way he should be getting back on the pitch, let along starting, for a team like ManU (well the myth that is ManU anyway).

What's funny is their results in the big games haven't actually been terrible, because they can just sit deep and counter like the underdog, but with players like Rashford and Martial in attack. It's the shit teams that they've struggled with.

A lot will depend on how long Pogba decides to stay motivated for.

That they're actually still good and capable of winning all their remaining games which in turn allows them to complete their planned summer signings without a hitch.

They love doing those paper comparisons too don't they.

The "on paper"..... this is better, that's even betterer and wow he's the bestest ever.

that transfer has got the potential to be the most bonkers transfer of all time. He’s a £15-20 mill defender. A classic lumbering English centre half.

He also seems to suffer from the same issues as Luke Shaw, he looks overweight and out of shape.

If the season counts from both Fernandez and Pogba starting in the same team, we would be top of the league....
If the season counts from Rashford returning from injury, we would be top of the league....

He reads the game well and is fantastic in the air. He’s a reasonably good passer of the ball.

But they’ve paid absolutely top top money for him and Wan Bissakka when they aren’t top money players..

I agree he never looks really fit and even allowing for the extra cost of home grown players they paid at least double or more than what he's really worth.

I don’t think he’s showing much of it at Man Utd, maybe he did more for Leicester - where he had a rep as being a player who was comfortable bringing the ball out of defence. But it doesn’t stand out at Utd, looks very much on par with what you’d hope plenty of players would be like on the ball at this level. But maybe that’s more to do with Man Utd, than him!

His lack of mobility is glaring, and I honestly don’t think he reads the game exceptionally well, ok, he isn’t Sakho like in getting caught out over and over again, but he still isn’t up there with the best at that part of the game.

He should be absolutely in the top percentile of central defenders in europe, he isn’t even in the top 10.
