I wonder how often will FF cry wolf on FG in the coming months as their threat to seek an election due to the fallout of Kenny nominating Whelan to the Court of Appeal has a wee taste of sour grapes about it. Trying to hold FG over a barrel because they think its their ball the government is playing with will soon get very old.

You have to laugh at how our right to protest was taken to court in recent months by Joan Burton. The case should have been thrown out of court the first day but then again how will the solicitors pay their mortgages without billing the State. We seem to be so generous with State money as they paid the AIB solicitors 3k a day...3 times their daily rate for a botch case.

You think the DPP brought a prosecution specifically so lawyers could get paid and the Judge cooperated by not throwing out the case?

Why did the DPP even think there was a case for prosecution? Why did Joan Burton even try to press any charges as any day you heard her pleading her life was in danger it was hard not to laugh out loud. Waste of our time & money but hey ho every time there is a potential tribunal to be heard there seems to be no shortage of hours to be billed.

A child has died from stab wounds after being discovered at a property in Dublin’s south side. It is understood emergency services were called to a property in the Crumlin area where they discovered a three-year-old boy with knife wounds on Monday evening.

A woman was also discovered at the property and she has been rushed to St James’s Hospital. Gardaí are at the scene.

Its an interesting one but there is always a bump for a new leader, watch SF do the same when Adams announces he is off in Novermber after the next election.

Who will the new leader be Sarge? Is it Mary-Lou or has Adams stayed a bit long for her?

Perhaps. Seems a rather belated new leader bump though, 100 days in. Hopefully this indicates a more sustained increase in support.

Would hope that SF are already near the peak of the populist vote.

Can't see him stepping down. I know he suggested he would in the media a while back but it sounded very qualified. He enjoys the spotlight too much.

2002 never pass 7%

2007 never pass 10%

2011 never pass 15%

2017 thwy are on an average in Poll of Polls at 18% for two years now.
