More4 have been cocks and stopped showing them, for some reason. I've got them all on DVD now, but because I'm such a lazy prick, I can never really be arsed putting DVDs in and going through the whole rigmarole of menus and shit. I'd like to say 'I just don't get the time' but I hate people who say that. Anyone know if they'll be back on?

Conversation between Jeff and a nurse at the hospital that cracks me up every time. Larry's face is brilliant.

"Goodnight Nurse."
"Goodnight."
"It's just a saying..."
"I've never heard of it."
"It's an old one."
"That's nice."
"It is."
"I know it is."
"Do you?"
"Do you?"
"I do."
"Good for you."
"It is good for me."
"Oh you think so?"
"I know so."
"I'm glad."
"So am I."
"That makes two of us."
"So you say."
"So I did."

"Okay, the GTS is... 'Guaranteed... Tremendous... Safety'."
"So, without the 'S', it's just 'Guaranteed Tremendous'?"

I started with the one with the finale being the Producers-musical of Mel Brooks. Still think that's the best season-finale. ;D

Aye, that's four is it not? I think I started with three (the restaurant). Personally I think series 2 and 3 are the best for what it is, but series 4 is probably the best to get somebody on to it... I'd say so, anyway.

Wanda: Why'd you fire the black man?

Larry: I fired the black man... because... he's the guy who set up the whole system here and it doesn't work! And he's here like... every week, I'm givin' him checks, we've got five remotes, I can't turn it on... but I know, you know, *black* man can *never* do anything *wrong*, at least to get fired from a job! Black people *always* do everything right!

Wanda: [Walks over to TV, pushes button, fixes it] You gotta turn the damn satellite on for the TV to work! See the little green light? Just gotta turn it on! Or you can fire the black man. Whatever works for you.

Probably my favourite quote of all. That, and the one where Cheryl and Wanda accuse Larry of being an "Ass Man", where Wanda says something along the lines of "Whay are you so dirty Larry. Probably been on the floor scrounging for asses"

Just started working my way through season 1 (it's all on Virgin Media's On Demand thing under the HBO channel on TV Choice) and have to say it's hilarious. Love it... and it's subtle comedy, which is priceless at times. Didn't think I'd like it, and to be honest it's taken me a couple of episodes to get into it, but now I want to watch more and more!

The humour is very subtle, and as I said, it took me a couple of episodes to 'get it'... I can see why people wouldn't find it funny though.
