Just when you thought this thread couldnt get any worse… Good lord I just spent ages trawling through shit to get to some actual news. Maybe an actual news thread would be better for people like me that would rather steer clear of some of the stuff written, my eyes are bleeding.

God forbid somebody has a differing opinion than your own.

What metric are you using

I used wage bill.  The final position in any league is mainly determined by the wage bill.  Loads of research out there.  Simply put the better a player the more you have to pay to keep them because they are in high demand.  So if you develop a superstar from the academy, notionally for free, you eventually have to pay superstar wages.

This is why net spend is not as good an indicator because wealthier clubs tend to move on fading big earners relatively cheaply to make room in the wage bill for up and coming stars.

Potentially an incredibly prescient username choice by the OP

Jurgs BT interview

"What I like about it, first and foremost he really wants to be the manager here, I like that a lot, that's exactly the way it should be. I like the positivity around it, what people tell me is they're looking forward to it if he would be the next manager, they would be happy, very good football as well.

This is a sensational club and deserves a manager full of energy, knowledge - which he has, his team plays really, really good football, that's what I know about him, I dont know him personally but I know his team plays really exciting and good football and I liked it a lot when I watched it"

Amorim in the mud.

Watch Chelsea sign him.

Yeah piss City off with a decision and you don't get any more City games as Ref. Ask Simon Hooper.

Give them decisions and you get an all expenses paid trip to the UAE. I mean you have develop myopia so you miss Kovacic committing a couple of stonewall yellow/red card challenges. The myopia becomes so severe that you even see Doku drop-kick Macca.

I am sure his eyesight returns when he views his burgeoning bank balance though.

PGMOL is too open to corruption. It's unaccountable and an old boys network.

It needs to be run independently and have accountability and oversight. It even gets to call in favours with Sky forcing the pundits to back them up.

Did anyone see Catweazle on the BBC’s London Marsthon coverage last week? He ran the marathon (fair play) and then when interviewed was banging in about that part of Manchester being the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution and how the stadium was originally built for the workers to go and watch a game afterwards and how great it would be for that area to have a rebuilt stadium there. Still plying the Wembley of the North line. Absolute chancer. Pay for it yourself, or at least use your marathon sponsorship money you tight bastard.

I'm glad that's finally settled. Can we all agree that Musk is a c*nt and that Teslas are shite and close the thread now?
