Unless you think we’re in a title race, in which case you’re in for a very rude awakening at some point.

We’d go joint top with a win. What’s with the race to call ourselves out of it? You don’t win any prizes for it.

Those 3 aways in 6 days were the last thing we needed.

Season would have turned out better had we gone out to Arsenal in the cup - we'd have played this game a month ago and had a free midweek.

Good runs in the domestic cups have fucked us over last few years to be honest

That Nunez chance gets worse every time you see it, why cant he just place it

Salah slashed across one that hit a defender and then blazed it over the bar. Pile into Darwin who hit the target instead.

Everton win every header into our box. We didn’t start with the intensity needed, as usual. Allowed them to boss us in the opening 30mins and then only come alive when they score.

Everton have something to hold onto now, and with our crap finishing I’m struggling to see how we’re going to get 2 goals.

Carragher talking absolute shite.

Saying you don’t give silly fouls away at Goodison. Not questioning one of the fouls which have literally been brushes/body to body contact and their players have just gone down?

Fucking despicable from Carragher but to be fair, he rarely criticises referees.

I hope Klopp tries Danns on today, what have got to lose with three forwards firing blanks at the moment. Come on Kloppo risk it all and these snowflakes will eventually fall apart.

It would send a strong message to the lot of them. They are not irreplaceable. Fuck it, what have we got to lose now? Anything would be better than this shite against that load of shite.

Al, he was right in the middle of the ball in complete control and what 7 or 8 yards out? There was massive space to Pickfords right. The goal is to score, not just hit it on target.

If we win this league, I think Arsenal and Man City will be scratching their heads and wondering how a team that concedes a goal like that can finish above them. That’s the difference really and that’s why ultimately we’ll probably finish 3rd.

Both of them are fairly significantly better than us at this point.

Konate had an awful half and kept panicking. Virgil sleeping through the game. Trent chickening out of a header. Robertson with aimless crosses. Our backs need to waken up and stop giving away gifts. As for our forwards, they can’t hit the target.

On a positive note, we did look much better towards the end but now we will be up against a team that will put 11 behind the ball and will throw them selve at the ball to block our shots. It’s going to be an uphill task but we should not have shat ourselves once again.

Awful.

Our finishing full stop and defending for the goal..

and the ref giving them every little tickle they feel and they score from one of them..

Big 45. For us, lets hope not the ref.

Let’s see if we go joint top then. We won’t, because we’re nowhere near good enough.

We’re good enough for top four, which was the original target.

The Gakpo thing just put the cap on it as well. Two forwards who've heads have completely gone playing instead.

Salah could have easily got it on target instead of swiping at it.
