Bear with me, this is not supposed to be to too much of a serious post.
There was a band in Finland that popularized many `60s songs for us, kids of the late 70´s up to early 90´s.
For example, the first rendition of "Here Comes The Sun" for me was the Clifters's "Elekieltä"

So in a perverse way, it was actually better than any of the originals, as it introduced me into a whole decade of music which might otherwise been lost/unfound for me.
