If he wonders why Man City don't get the 'respect' of bigger clubs, then there is no helping him.  Respect is earnt, not bought by human rights abusers.

Not that this has fuck all to do with why Aguero hasn't won player of the year  :D  Just makes me laugh that he equates Manchester City buying domestic trophies, through rather dodgy means, to be seen in the same light as actual giants of the European football world like Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona and dare I say it Manchester United.

You missed off AC Milan. ;D

And Ajax.

And Forest.

And Villa.

I've got more respect for Spurs than City, frankly.

Not a "hater" of this fella but he just can't keep us out of his mouth.

Annoying me more in recent times to be honest....no need for some of the weirdness he's shown towards us and we clearly get under his skin whenever playing against us, but that's part of the game though I mean cmon...

Hope he has to give 'big man' Gomez a guard of honour  ;D

To be fair he use to miss chances like that for us but had improved at City.

Thought he wouldn't miss that now...Maybe, he was thinking of Madrid.

He used to miss some ridiculous sitters for us as well but we'd forget because Suarez or Sturridge would bang one in a minute later.

Potentially? He's definitely cost them a semi-final spot since CL is one-off ties right now. ;D

Yeah, I was thinking just that. It'll be tough to get past it. Smacks of Gerrard's slip - but at least that was at the end of his career. Look at how Karius has been destroyed by his CL mistakes.

Couldn’t have happened to a nicer feller.

Without any evidence I wonder if  Sterling picked up one of the knives from the breakfast table and brandished it at Gomez ...and that was how his face got cut. A lot more credible than the scratch story. Explains England announcing it  as well because they were still covering for him by not telling the full story. If that was true his reputation would be finished because of the wider issue of knife crime. I am not saying it was a flick knife or anything. More like a knife to cut bread rolls which happened to be to hand, but I do think his first thought given the physical disparity might be to use a weapon.. “ You still the big-man? “

Just a theory but I won’t be surprised if this comes out in a few years time.

The fact he so obviously hates to lose face means that this miss will hit him harder than it would someone with a more balanced personality.  As others have said humiliation on such a big stage can ruin careers.
Sorry, but this is absolutely nuts. Completely baseless, and actually a bit sinister.

I don't much like Sterling but that is absolute bollocks. Also, England were prepared to send him home but it was Joe who asked them not too.
