Atalanta was crazy good. Can't believe they can sustain this level of chasing throughout the season but they obviously have done it over these 2 games against us. Can't help that if this team had more time to gel like the 2018/19 team, we would have torn them apart. Mane and Salah would be having a field day with them chasing their shadows all over the park.

Sad to say but the team just looked like they aren't arsed, they didn't show any passion or energy at all. Passing it around with the keeper at 1mph at the end of the game when we're chasing 2 goals. What happened to mentality monsters, we'd usually be smashing on the door.

We built a tactic around Trent but when he doesn't play we look utter clueless, how many times second half did Van Dijk, Konate and Alisson fuck around wiht it for 5 minutes to hoof it to no-one.

There were more positives to take from the Madrid defeats last season and that was about as comprehensively as we've ever been done over two legs in Europe, against a great side too. Nobody other than Gakpo comes away from either game with any credit and I'm not even sure I want to see him start at the weekend. Great times.

Can't mince words about that. Absolutely pathetic and I think these final six games are going to serve up more of the same. Roll on the summer and a new approach.

That second half was depressing. We didn’t look like we had a clue how to create anything. Every move ended up either back with Alisson or in their keeper’s hands from another hopeful punt upfield.

Credit to them I guess. The Salah chance was the big moment, that goes in and they’re under a bit of pressure but we’ve completely forgotten how to finish across the board.
