To be honest pretty much every episode of South Park is superb (in my opinion, anyway).

I was even watching some of the episodes from the first few series the other day and their quality too.

But the best stuff is probably Series 7 onwards.

The Wal-Mart episode in Series 8 is quality, the Ladder to Heaven one in Series 7 also, the Trapped in the closet episode from Series 9.

Like the one with the old people driving and the war of world craft one which has to be one of his best episodes ever!

Randy: (on the phone) Nelson! Nelson I need to come over and use your computer! … No, I need to play World of Warcraft! Nelson?!

Nelson: Is that a computer game?
Randy: No, artard, it's an MMORPG. These are real people I'm playing with. See, I'm a hunter, level 2. I can chat with all these other people. I can even wave to this guy, see? Hello. (his character waves to another character, who waves back). In the outside world, I'm a simple geologist, but in here… I am Valkorn, Defender of the Alliance. I've braved the Fargo Deep Mine, defeated the bloodfish at Jarrod's Landing--
(the nerd's character kills Randy's character)
Nelson: Hmm. Looks like that guy just killed you.
Randy: What? Why? WHY?!

Scott Tenorman must die is the best episode, easy.

Cartman: Yes, I'm afraid this isn't your chili, Scott. I switched it with Chef's.  It's delicious, Chef. I hadn't planned on that. What I did plan on, however, was that my friends, Stan and Kyle, would betray me and warn you that the Chili Con Carnival was a trap.  I assumed that they would tell you that I had trained Denkins pony to bite off your weiner. What they didn't tell you was that Denkins is a crazy redneck who shoots trespassers on sight. Knowing that you would try and do something to the pony, I warned Mr. Denkins that violent pony killers were in the area. I also know that you wouldn't go yourself, for fear of having your weiner bitten off. You would most likely send your parents.  And, I'm afraid that when Mr. Denkins spotted them on his property, he shot and killed both your parents.....I came just in time to see Mr. Denkins giving his report to Officer Barbrady. And of course, to steal the bodies...  After a night with the hacksaw, I was all ready to put on my Chili Con Carnival, so that I could tell you personally about your parents' demise! And of course, feed you your chili. Do you like it? Do you like it, Scott? I call it, "Mr. & Mrs. Tenorman Chili."

Oh, let me taste your tears, Scott!  Oh, the tears of unfathomable sadness! My-ymmuy.

:lmao Absolutely loved it.

Just curious, of the best English television shows (Alan Partridge, The Office), how many episodes do they make a season, and how many seasons do they last?  Seems to me South Park, the Simpsons, and others have more than doubled the output of England's finest.

Quality, not quantity

Look at how shit and repetitive the Simpsons, Friends, Frasier etc are, whereas I'm Alan Partridge, The Office, Fawlty Towers etc were top class throughout 2 series (12 episodes) and then had the good sense to quit while they were ahead.

To be 14 episodes isn't bad for one series, it's a shame they split them up, but there we go... there'll be 7 more superb episodes to look forward to in October/November, at least.

Got to disagree with that, the constant high quality of the likes of Frasier and Seinfeld puts to shame the normal dross we had over here. There are obviously going to be a few stinkers but there's also far more too enjoy.
