Doesn't really make me happy or sad but wasn't sure where to put it but i do find it quite funny

My 10 year old daughter decided about 6 months ago that she doesn't like any food touching on a plate or if it's a burger or hotdog then it has to be deconstructed on the plate !!

She eats like a mouse so most of the time we can keep it all separate but if she has a bigger plateful then we have to sometimes put stuff into ramekins

It might sound weird having one in winter, but we went to the Blue Lagoon in Iceland one night when it was around freezing point. The water was beautifully warm, and we just lay back, looking at the stars.

I imagine this will be quite similar.

You need it to be freezing for a hot tub to be worthwhile, otherwise you don't get the full benefit. First one we did was a cabin in the lakes, -2 and we were loving being in the tub, although getting out was a bit sketchy.

Been out in it tonight already, couple of beers, kids off the playstations, ideal.

The end of 2020

Whatever your optimism levels are for next year, I'm really glad this year is ending. The big hope is I won't have the same feeling this time next year! But somehow, I do really have that hope

We've said exactly that tonight though the mornings are still really dark. We won't notice a difference there for a few weeks yet.

I refuse to get out of before before quarter to 8 now, so I'm not even noticing the mornings being dark

Yep, it won't be until the end of the month, or early February before you notice the mornings getting lighter, sunrise is around 8.25am at the moment.
