Haven't we got to assume Konate is out for a while at this point? Or has there been news I've missed?

Klopp said he could be available for the game this weekend.

When is Jota back?

Thought Klopp said he'd be back before the end of the season - I was assuming that meant some time in April......

Reserves on thursday (you know, mostly the ones that beat Chelsea at Wembley) with serious back up on the bench and players who need minutes.

Full team v United but all internationals limp off at the end.

Having Jones back would be vital for the midfield, we need to be able to manage Endo and Macca’s minutes a bit more

If we can get Ali, Jones, Trent and Jota back and playing for April (and avoid any other major injuries), I would say we are in a good place going into the run-in.

Konate should be back for Man Utd on Sunday. Trent, Jones and Gravenberch for the game after that which is Brighton after the international break.

That just leaves Jota then really? From those likely to play again this season.

Shit yeah. Probably a testament to Kelleher that he didn't enter my mind!

Totally. Kelleher & Bradley, and Endo to some extent too, have been so good that I'm pretty relaxed about Ali, Trent and Jones. Jota is a huge miss though. And obviously we want our injured players back because the likelihood is that currently fit players will get injured at some point!

Since we all love a conspiracy theory...I wonder if we're got to a point with a few of the injuries where they are maybe closer than we think to returning but don't particularly want some doofus international coach saying 'Well if he's ok to train I'll call him up'

I don't know. We never seem to take this approach. Maybe only fergie could get away with that

Key is the depth for rotation and stronger bench and guarding against further injuries or fatigue, so it's vital to have these players back. Going to be two games a week rest of the season from Brighton onwards (at least if we get past United and win the quarter final).

If it's true I can't imagine it's training training, like with the team, maybe he's back running etc - which would be great news after less than a month. Would put him on course for mid April maybe?

There was talk a while back that Jones might make the weekend.

Be amazing to have him and Trent back for Brighton though with Jota and Ali to follow.

i know adrian isnt a fan favourite here

but brad jones in goal does make me a bit weak in the knees.
