Only 5 other Liverpool players have received the monthly player award since the turn of the century.

I'd imagine.....Suarez, Gerrard, Torres........who else?!

5x Gerrard
2x Torres, Sturridge, Suarez
1x McAllister

Edit: Oh, never mind. I thought he'd won the actual award. This appears to be a "fan voted" award.

Two Bergkamp-esque passes to Clyne and Can for their goals. The guy is a pure class and is only getting started . Most importantly has a making of a flat-track bully which is exactly what we`ll need next season to be up there with top teams.

The thing about Bob, his dribbling is insane.

I know it's a plainly obvious remark, but all the more impressive in the sense that he shares that similar unpredictable, yet controlled style Suarez has. I think a lot of people don't realize and are forgetting how good this lad is. Just needed to find his feet and acclimatize to the speed of Premier League football.

What I love about him is his vision. When some of our other players get the ball in the attacking end, they don't really have a clue where the best move is. Firmino is deadly with his passing. Sturridge will score a goal a game with him and Coutinho if he can stay fit.

Form is temporary class is permanent.

Never had no doubts about him, great to see proving the doubters wrong, the fee will be looked at as a bargain in about 2 years.

Firmino is deffo one of the first names on the team sheet. He's now at the level where if he isn't directly scoring or assisting he's still having a big effect. Whether involved with goals in the build up or he's the one starting the press. Crucial piece of the Klopp Puzzle.

Firmino affects games, that's what makes him stand-out, his first touch, vision, passing and dribbling are out of the top drawer, he is a naturally talented footballer- if we can keep the front 3 fit we will have a right go next season-

I think we will push for 4th this season if those front 3 can stay fit from now til the end.

One of his best games without scoring a goal, impressive.  Hopefully him and Daniel can create an understanding together, I prefer Bobby behind the striker although he may not be the one getting the goals, I feel he has more influence there.

His work rate is fantastic. Good signing like many fans predicted. Think his best position is playing off a pacy forward with clever movement like sturridge.

Coutinho a bit deeper with a more of a wide player and our attack looks good.

I love the way he robs the ball off people. Defenders think they've taken it off him, they set themselves for what they're going to do in possession and by that time he's won it back. Excellent player.

Before this game I looked at his stats in the PL games in the last 6-7 games, and I think he shot at least 4 times in all of them except maybe two games.

In a 6-0 romp you would think that he would keep up those shooting numbers, but no, clearly with better attackers around him he no longer has the pressure on him to score. Pops up with an assist for Can and a key pass for Clyne's goal instead.

I've been puzzled over the Suarez comparisons, but watching some of his compilations - even from this season, you can really see it. Never say die tenacity is one part of it, but I think the other key part is he tries a lot of crazy tricks/dribbles, some of which don't come off, but which make him an unpredictable prospect to deal with for defenders. I think with Sturridge, Coutinho and Origi back, we're gong to see him show his value even more, as defenders have to deal with multiple goal threats from around the pitch.

We definitely need another reliable attacker in there with some pace. Unfortunately with Sturridge's injuries we still will need another striker.

All 3 have plenty of flair though and you wonder whether Klopp would want a solid but not spectacular choice to balance that out on the wing. Kind of like Milner but with a bit more speed.

Would the tentative links (albeit from shite enough sources) with Lucas Moura be worth reading into.  A front 4 of Bob, Phil, DS and Moura would be potentially brilliant.
