Big owners should really stop sending Stoute animals now. He doesn’t get anywhere near as much as out of the ammunition he gets as a Gosden or even a Balding. Shadwell were right to bin him.

The top 3 have a 21 point buffer over the rest, with Mag Hull leading from Ziltoid as both look to claim their first title.

But I’d say a big day from someone in top 8 might be enough to overhaul the gap. rubber soul in 4th also looking for a maiden crown in the position most likely to challenge
