It is his official webpage. It's all in Spanish but is not difficult to get to the videos section.

on the home page click on "media" and then "videos" (yes, it is only in Spanish

).

There are three videos of Mark Gonzalez of about 2 minutes lenght each, all of them playing for Chile or Universidad Catolica, a top team in the Chilean league.

In the videos you can see that he has pace in abundance, a hard shot (goal against Brasil), and that he can get past players with skill.

his first run down the left flank againts uruguay looks class and the lad can score some spectacular goals too.
no doubt that he's going to be a quality signing.

dont think thats possible mate. i tried dl-ing the swf and its only 67kb. we dont know the location of the video it streams from unless we have the fla files.

Great clips and this was the first time I saw him in action. Great pace, great left foot and techical player. Reminds me of young Mark Overmars.

I couldn't access the site either (did later through a proxy though), the vids are pretty easy to save on your computer if you want them.

Just open them in Internet Explorer, let them load, go to your temporary internet files and copy the .flv files from there.

The vids were good. Showed his speed, some good close control, and ability to strike from distance with power.

There wasn't anything there that convinced me he was significantly of more quality up the left side than Kewell, Garcia, or Zenden for that matter. Rather than take over the left side, I truly see him as another option - maybe one that truly provides width as all three of the above often play in the center of the park)

I believe that mark is a great contribution for liverpool, one of the detrezas that it has is its good arrival by the left side breaking schemes and kicking excellent to the ball

Looks like he could be an excellent buy. Some truly serious acceleration on him. Seems he likes to beat defenders too.

Many thanks for the clips. He looks an exciting prospect offering genuine pace on the left.

I wonder what we might do with our budget. I wouldn't mind getting Gonzales and keeping Stevie on the right (saving a bundle on Simao/Joaquin). The cash might then buy us Kuyt and a top central defender.
