Cos they're not very good. Everton beat them

But so many times these teams do all the hard defensive work then throw it away at the end.

Imagine conceding a header to Kai fucking Havertz. I'd commit seppuku after the game if I was a defender.

To be fair to the Brentford keeper he stopped the initial header but it rebounded off his other leg and into the goal, so it's possible it could go down as an own goal

What a weird side.

Ramsdale had a shocker.

Both good reasons why they won't win the league. Brentford had half their team missing and it took them an eternity to break them down. But anyway, I think both us and City will be happy for Arsenal to feel the heat for a while, takes a bit of pressure off. Plus with City going off to the club World Cup in a couple of weeks they will slide down the table anyway with it being tight at the top.

I don't mind Arsenal staying around for a while, as its more pressure on City and let's remember their away form isn't as impeccable as in the past.

They were crap in the 2nd half of last season mostly anyway, threw away a great chance of a league/Europa League double. Let's hope we don't this season!

They haven't played anyone away except Newcastle. And they lost that. We, on the other hand, have three of the four hardest aways already done.

We're in a much better position when you take fixtures into account. I think we'll beat them at Anfield too

Yeah because they aren't very good

But if it was just that, then they would've lost well before the end. All they need to do is just concentrate for a few more minutes.

Because perhaps it just happens in football. I mean, we have done it ourselves so why this is such a shock I'm not sure. They have had a number of defensive injuries so obviously the replacements are not as good.

It's not a shock, it's just frustrating. Lost count of the number of times the likes of Spurs and Arsenal have won this way this season, after not playing well. Brentford should actually have tried to attack Arsenal today, instead they tried to grind out a draw - if you're going to do that, especially at home, then you have to be capable of focusing for the whole game. Otherwise it's a completely wasted effort.

He has very rarely managed to put out his best team this season, as they have been suffering from niggling injuries. It's always harder when that's happening to a team, we struggled when it was happening to us. Football has always been like this, look how many times we got late winners the season we won the league. The better teams will usually find a way against the rest of the league. Just better overall quality.

As he should, however now for the consistency of everyone being red carded for using foul and abusive language towards the officials.
94 Corner to us. Last kick. Ali in the box and he’s scored
