Re: Honest Question - Sir Bobby Charlton

Hello All,

I am a Yank who loves English football and I have a very honest question for Liverpool supporters...

I am well-aware that Liverpool and Man United are bitter rivals. However, the late, great Sir Bobby Charlton (RIP) was an English footballing legend.

When he was alive, if he were to walk into Anfield, would he be booed and jeered as a former Red Devil, or respected, cheered, and treated reverently for his many amazing contributions to the England National Team?

Thank You

Many Liverpool fans wouldnt care about his performances for England

Personally Id neither jeer or clap,
As I've said before, the Full English is just the base upon which the Scots/Welsh/NI have improved upon. Sorry but the Full English is the worst of the British breakfasts.
