And Allen is milles better than Henderson. Your point is? I think he was just referring to the fact that its a young, exciting lineup, and players like Coady may finally get the chance to play in the first team where Rodgers can see if he is good enough to make the step up or not?

Lukaku vs Carragher isn't something I ever wanted to see again. Hopefully he doesn't see much of the ball though.

Lukaku or Carra? ;)

Hopefully Coates will take care of Lukaku...

Apart from hard work, Morgan hasn't really shown much in his appearances so far. I'm sure he'll get another chance but unlike Sterling and Suso he didn't make the most of his opportunity. Ngoo is a different question, not sure why he hasn't got a chance yet, hopefully we'll see him in an EL game or two.

Actually many people who follow the reserves don't even think Coady should be a regular in that side. He hasn't progressed much after all the promise he showed in the U18s which is rather sad. Hopefully he can turn it around.

I guess BR doesn't fancy Ngoo. I'm a bit baffled by the way he's been completely overlooked.

I remember Kenny took Sterling on a European game last year with no intention of playing him, just to let him sample the first team atmosphere and say "well done so far, you're progressing nicely, keep working hard and this could be a regular thing". Brendan could be doing something similar, did Sterling no harm!

I think he will probably be proud and pleased that these lads are getting a chance to shine. Rodgers deserves credit for consistenly being brave enough to give these lads a crack.

Robinson will learn so much about positioning by having a screaming Carragher beside him.

I would love to see one last Carra goal before he retires. At the right end of course!!

That's like a squad Le Terrible would pick... absolutely bonkers bench. Criminal lack of strikers at the club frankly. Am encouraged at least that we're all trying to play football the same way and certainly more exciting than throwing veteran no-hopers like Degen and Voronin. Good luck lads you'll need it! Will we get a fine for picking this team?
