Had 2 replies to my emails...

"Good morning,

Many thanks for your email. I fully shares the concerns laid out in the many emails I have been receiving on the matter of Wrexham Football Club.

As you may know, I have been asking for some time for a meeting with the board at Wrexham Village to discuss this and other issues, though none has been forthcoming thus far.

I have repeated those calls today and I enclose a copy of this email below.

Geoff,

I have, this morning, been inundated with e-mails following an article in yesterday’s Leader. The concern is the business structure of the Club. As you know, I have been asking to meet to discuss the position for months now and I would like to meet with you, Ian Roberts, and anyone else that you deem appropriate so that I can understand the model you have for the Club, the Crusaders and Wrexham Village. Could we please meet this week?

I look forward to hearing from you as a matter of urgency.

I will advise all those who have contacted me that I have asked for an urgent meeting.

Ian Lucas MP

I am also raising the matter with Ivan Lewis MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport.

Many thanks,

Ian Lucas MP"

and

Dear Antony
I've already responded to a number of e-mails regarding yesterday's
article in the Leader. I picked up some rumours in the Mold Road Stand
yesterday afternoon but was unaware of the Leader article at the time.
The Exec Board has asked for a full report on the situation at the
Racecourse from our Strategic Director in response to the article
presented by Councillors Phil Wynn and Gwyneth Roberts.
I shall speak to the Director today to establish the position on the
report and shall ensure that it deals with these latest developments.
The Council shall obviously need to consider its position in light of
these developments and I shall get back to you within the course of the
next few days.
If there is anything further you need in the meantime then please do
not hesitate to get back to me.

Aled Roberts

Any chance a mod could move this to the main board to give it a bit more coverage for a while?

When I was just a little boy, I asked my father what should I be
Should I be City, or should I be scum? Here's what he said to me
Wash your mouth out son, and get your fathers gun
To shoot the Wrexham, shoot the Wrexham scum.

Just kidding mate, hopefully your club can survive, it's been a horrible time for clubs around this area in recent years. The only dissapointment I have with Chester FC is that we won't see a derby game for a while.

Dear Mr Phoenix

Thank you for your e-mail.

I am also very concerned about the business structure of Wrexham Football Club and the Crusaders and have written to Ian Roberts, the Chairman of Wrexham Football Club, asking for a meeting as a matter of urgency.

I will contact you again following my meeting with Mr Roberts.

Kind regards.

This probably applies to NESV, but I'm gonna say it anyway.

If your intention in owning a football club is purely to make money, fuck off.
