I can’t imagine they’d need to bring more than one other goalie coach. I think having 3 before was a luxury afforded because of Ali being here and Taffarel being willing to move to work with him at Liverpool. And Taffarel's staying - so maybe an assistant goalie coach?

I'd expect we get a keeper coach as he was head coach for all age groups no? Tafferel was 1st team so I'd imagine he stays the same and is the assistant.

Lijnders - Hulshoff
Krawietz - Reijnen
Andreas's -  Peeters
Mateos - ??
Achterberg - ??
Robinson - Taffarel

something like that so far?

Not particularly bothered who wins. Probably will be reading through some GCSE coursework tonight so probably won’t watch much! Glad it’s two slightly more low profile teams rather than Champions League drop outs. Would be the greatest thing to happen to either team (maybe not Leverkusen given their recent title) so will be nice to see someone happy. Should be a good game.

Truth is the polls ain`t going to get much better so this is his last gamble. There isn`t the money for some massive tax cut and interest rates will probably only change marginally in the next few months. He has probably had his version of the thought "fuck it".

Four Seasons in One Day - Crowded House

Season in the Sun - Terry Jacks

Its a long shot as all the plots seemed to have died out, but it’s the only explanation I can think of for having the election so early, I thought they’d hold out for a cut in interest rates or something even slightly positive before calling the election.
probably want to hold it before more of their base die of old age

Perfect. Kudos to all who put in the time getting those words just right.

No one wants to be looking for a new job just before Christmas. Better for them to get it out of the way early I guess.

Are they thinking things will get even worse? What’s the logic for it?

I guess they're gambling that the economy continues to "improve" in June - and I use that word in the very loosest form.

If inflation falls again during the campaign, and there's a rate cut to go with it, then it could give Sunak a much needed boost. But if Sunak stalls the election into the summer, then a poor Euros from England could actually fuck him up; or it could spark a flurry of postal voting from people who have holidays booked - which might sidestep ID laws on election day.

I just sense that the Tories expect the country to start sinking again in late summer.

Sunak's got a new job lined up.

He will be off to the States.

Sunak to make a statement outside number 10, he'll look like even more of a prize chump if he doesn't call one now

Sunak avoids a leadership challenge and the Tories avoid being responsible for implementing the huge amount of compensation for both the blood and Post Office scandal.
They are basically dropping Labour right in the shite and fucking off on holiday with their pensions.
c*nts will be c*nts.
