We had to abide a week's worth of discourse when we were wrongly awarded a drop ball about 2 minutes before we scored against Forest, but Taylor preventing a surefire goal to tend to a fictitious injury that Areola wasn't even complaining about will just get swept under the rug.

Yeah, that'll likely be the excuse we get given... though many of us will see it as soon as the gk chooses to throw the ball down for him to kick it, then any 'advantage' (given for a gk colliding with is own defender) is over - and the ball is in play for everyone.

There is no explanation for that today that would stand up to any kind of scrutiny. Free kick? No Anthony you did not blow your whistle. Advantage? Then you cannot blow your whistle just because the keeper put the ball on the floor and pulled his socks up. The Manc had no right to stop that game and convince the keeper he needed medical attention.

That surely is the final straw for people who think it’s just honest mistakes?
My take is the officials have been got at by some shady people, maybe in the far east from the refs trips out there or from their jaunts to Abu Dhabi. It is beyond any kind or reasonable doubt that they are acting impartially now.
