We're looking 6-8 weeks for Sakho if its similar to Gerrard's hamstring injury. Similarly, probably a couple of months for Joe Allen.

Scouts better get busy, and FSG better get those chequebooks out!

The bench was weak today as it was. Unfortunately it looks like the cup game may have to be treated as a hindrance rather than a break from the league. This season is our best chance in years of breaking into the top 4 so we have to throw all our resources in that direction for me.         
Use the cup to rest up the walking wounded.
