Luke Cage looks awesome, wasn't sold until that trailer.

Iron Fist looks like it may be a bit too bogged down in ninjas and monks and all the stuff I felt dragged down the 2nd half of Daredevil season 2

Luke Cage looks fantastic, going to start the Jessica Jones Series and hopefully get through it before Luke Cage is released!

Bit of trouble behind the scenes at Deadpool 2.

The director, Miller, really wants Kyle Chandler to play Cable, but fox are interfering saying they want Liam Neeson or another big movie star name to play him.

I really hope they don't fuck the film by interfering too much, surely they see how much studio interference has fucked DC and how good Deadpool was by just letting it happen

That does seem likely, with how much money the first one made, there is no reason why they would force more expensive casting options on them that would reduce the chances of the sequel doing well enough to make money.

Ignoring any other considerations, picking anyone in their 60's for the first movie of an important character just seems like an utterly moronic decision as you'd want at least another couple of movies out of them.

Agreed. You can't really trust any news to come out of the Deadpool franchise. So much of it is liable to be PR posturing.

Anyone watch new Agents of Shield? Thought it wasnt too bad. Think the Ghost Rider stuff could be great if they do it well enough. Lots of stories in that 1st episode though. Maybe a Doctor Strange connection as well?

I'm slightly concerned that they will focus too much on their shiny new character as they don't often get to use many that have actually had their own comics.
