Has anyone ever used a home brewing kit? If so would you recommend it or is it a bit of an effort? Just asking as have an idea for a Christmas present for someone who likes their wheat beers and the like so thought it could be something different.Any good/bad experiences?! Cheers.
I di a couple of years ago, and some of it was brilliant, other batches tasted like vinegar and boot polish.was a decent thread with loads of info on here..http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=217721.240
yer ma should have called you Paolo Zico Gerry Socrates HELLRAZOR
Was drinking this in Sion, lovely beer. Anyone seen it in the UK?
Got some Anchor Steam and Blue Moon from Tesco recently. Don't usually like American beers but these two are proper nice.
Yeah I had a pint of it once with an orange slice in. Didn't really get that but it tasted good.
It started with our brewmaster, Keith Villa, wanting to craft a beer inspired by the flavorful Belgian Wits he enjoyed while studying brewing in Belgium. He brewed his interpretation using Valencia orange peel versus the traditional tart Curaçao orange peel, for a subtle sweetness. Then he added oats and wheat to create a smooth, creamy finish that’s inviting to the palate. As a final touch, he garnished the beer with an orange slice to heighten the citrus aroma and taste. Its natural unfiltered appearance adds to the depth of flavors in Belgian White*.
I would honestly let Wijnaldum jizz in my face right now
I watched a YouTube video and decided that Paul Konchesky looked like a player.
A dead animal is a dead animal. And a piece of meat is a piece of meat.
Got some DFH 90 min in the fridge for the match today.
I hope you don't need any DFH 120 min
That Plum Porter is very good, especially when you find it on draught.
The Dispensary in town usually has it on draft. Not been in there for nearly a year, tho. I didn't get barred by Dave, either.
Yeah, I sent my Arsenal supporting mate in there for a pint of it when he was up for the match. (he didn't get barred either!)I've just had a pint of it. Got to Euston an hour early for my train home, so wandered round the corner to the Bree Louise, and there (amongst 22 other beers!) was Titanic Plum Porter straight from the barrel like at a beer festy. Slipped down a treat in the sunshine.
Lucky man !! Only had it in Liverpool and the Peak District . Never seen it down here in Brighton .
Well, I'd recommend getting to Euston early then next time you're heading north, they said it was a regular feature in there
