League Rules
http://www.miniclip.com/games/8-ball-pool-multiplayer/en/#t-g-r1.) League to consist of 1 division of 20 players.
2.) 1 match of 10 frames played each week. Game is to be stopped once one player reaches 6 (regardless of whether all 10 frames are played or not) or both players reach 5 Frames.
3.) 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw. no points for a loss.
4.) Frame score difference will be used when points are equal.
5.) If points and frame difference are the same, the result of the match between the people will determine the placing.
6.) Each week's fixture list and league table will be posted by the Sunday evening and must be played by the following Friday (by midnight). The game must be completed by midnight. If there is no evidence in the thread or via PM, it will be scored as a draw. This deadline is strict, and we will not accept results of games that have been completed at 1 in the morning.
7.) Miniclip has now added extra powers to the cues. To ensure everyone is on the same level, ALL PLAYERS MUST USE THE STANDARD CUE.
8.) Either player in a match can post the result in this thread OR PM one of the execs.
9.) These rules will be strictly followed. Yes, it is like being back in school but the rules keep everyone on the same playing field.
10.) Both players need to make the effort in arranging a match. Failure to do so by either or both parties will result in the match being settled as a draw or if one person fails to respond or make an attempt to arrange the match, the other person will be awarded a 6-0 victory. Please try to arrange your game early, and if no response from your initial PM to your opponent, include one of the execs in your next PM. You must make contact with your opponent, including one of the execs in the PM no later than Wednesday of the game week.
11.) All 10 frames must be played in one continuous session unless allowing for unwarranted disconnections. If the game keeps on disconnecting you must sort out with your opponent to replay the match at a later stage. It is entirely between yourselves whether the game should restart at 0-0, or the score when the disconnections began. Nobody should voluntarily leave a game for any reason - if they do so, they run the risk of forfeiting the game.
12.) We have a straight League where the person topping the table at the end is the winner.
13.) If anyone falls 4 or more games outstanding without any valid reason, they will be removed from the League and all of their games will be scored 0-6.
14.) Postponements will be granted for players that cannot play on any given week. There will be no deadline for any postponed games to be played, however, any player cannot have more than 3 postponed games at any one time.
15.) An Executive Committee is formed - BarneyLFC, ElZar and The G in Gerrard. This committee will determine any outcome not covered in the above rules. Their decision must be unanimous and will be final.
16.)Any player, whose profile shows that they have been on RAWK, that does not respond to a PM from any Committee Member within a 24 hour period will automatically forfeit the game in question - example - I send a PM to Elzar asking why his game was not played. I check his profile and see that he has been on RAWK in the 24 hours since I sent the PM but has not replied to me. He would therefore forfeit the game in question.
17.) Games to be played on a laptop/PC only. Handheld devices or tablets are not to be used.
