Anyone know how long that single lane on the East Lancs at the M57 junction is going to last? Got caught out by it last night.
If I were a linesman, I would execute defenders who applauded my offsides.

Any suggestions of where to park with minimal traffic back to the tunnel? My usual space is fully booked for Saturday. Don’t mind paying upto £10

Been lucky enough to ticket a ticket foe the Derby. Is Asda still alright for parking?

Hi all.
Planning on driving up for the Forest game in a couple of weeks. Does anyone know if you can park in the big Asda in Clubmoor? And, do you have to pay? It looks like Just Park will let you book a space if you pay them £6???

Asda Breck Road is closer mate, it's free, but not sure if there's a time limit (or if it's enforced if there is) it's always full of Reds on Match day and I've never seen traffic wardens about.

I think they have a three hour limit in theory, never seen anyone ticketed or anyone checking though.

I have a Blue Badge and ideally I want to park near to Anfield Road. Do you have to be a hospitality ticket holder to park at the Stanley Park/Priory Road Car Park? Or do you know how I could buy a permit.

I've parked at the Academy but it's a bit too far really and it can take ages to get away.

I was parking just by The Glenbuck but I only get 3 hours and the new added minutes to each half may make it go over 3 hours a little.

Any recommendations would be great.

Can anybody who has done match day parking for a women's match tell me how things work with the car parks like Utting Ave, St Domingos and the one on the school next to Goodison.

I've only ever used Stanley Park before and it's all sold out this time.

Really not sure what, if any, differences there are between a women's match day and a men's.

They have a ballot for every game for disabled parking, but you'd need to already be registered as disabled with the club to enter. Or register for next time maybe?

For anyone who parks at goodison, there’s some roadworks or something right by the entrance to the park end, road all dug up and it’s down to one lane. Might be worth getting there early, I walk past there every morning so will give an update if they’ve sorted it tomorrow but was all coned off and diversion boards up today.

Hi, Ive just noticed this,
when you say close to the Glen buck, do you mean Sleepers Hill?

From my experience the 3 hours thing is not fully implemented on a matchday.  LDSA made an agreement with the council for Blue badge holders to park in a residential spot, but the 3 hour rule isn't strict like it used to be or would be on non matchdays
As I've said before, the Full English is just the base upon which the Scots/Welsh/NI have improved upon. Sorry but the Full English is the worst of the British breakfasts.

Ive just re-read my post, obviously blue badge holders cant park in residential spots for any length of time on non match days.

No, its not permitted. Each council may make exceptions, like Liverpool CC on a match day, but generally blue badge holders are  not permitted to park there

Ah OK. I thought the restrictions are only in place on match days, The residents permits are labelled FMPZ (Football match parking zone) although I know the new signs they put up just say Aug-June etc

If you’re still not sorted, more availability has come up for both Stanley Park and Utting Avenue

Very nearly sorted alternative parking yesterday. Glad I didn't now. The club has never sold Utting Ave parking for a women's match before. Must be expecting a bigger crowd?

I'll be leaving much earlier than I did last time anyway, the traffic getting in was not good at all. Weirdly though, getting back out and off home was much easier than when the crowd had been smaller the season before.

Don’t know what they’ve offered before - but Utting Avenue parking was available when tickets first went on sale for Lower Kenny only

Driving down for the derby next week.

My mrs is pregnant and can't walk too far, what's the best spot for parking that's cheap?

Thanks

Where’s the place to park on match day for free or cheap (Less than a tenner) within walking distance of the ground as not been the match in a while?

Depends what you class as walking distance, but I usually park around Brewster Street, near Kirkdale station, and it's about a 25/30 minute walk from there.

Depends on what side of the ground you need to be but Anfield Community Sports Centre on Lower Breck Road is a good option. 10 min walk up Walton Breck passing The Cabbage, Flat Iron and the Sandon.

Lots of parking charges handed out by community officers during the last 2 homes. Watch you don't block the path if you park further out than The Belmont , and obviously don't park in the permit only areas.

Beware anyone who uses Asda on Utting Avenue L4 9XU to park on match days, I usually park there and noticed today they’ve got new Parking Eye signs up around the car park and 2 x big ANPR cameras on entry. 90 minutes parking for match days, plenty folk parking there today for the match and may end up with a fine through the post…. I had to find elsewhere to park

Reckon they'll build over the big one next to Goodison when the ground is demolished? That'd be frustrating.

So looking for parking for the Newcastle game and seen loads of recommendations like Asda, gwladys primary school etc, are these still viable? How do you book the primary school (if it’s an option).

The whole street parking area around Anfield is residents parking only at match times, even if there are no residents parking bays marked out.  The exception is the few spaces marked Free.  We park just outside the exclusion zone and walk about 25mins to the ground.

Hi all, managed to nab a ticket for the Norwich game and I'm just eying up my parking options (used JustPark in the past but trying to save money wherever possible at the moment!). Is the Breck Road Asda still sound to park in without a booking or have they started clamping down on that? My other thought was parking just outside the FMRPZ on one of the residential streets (i.e. just south of Breck Road and west of Breckfield Road S) - is that a viable option? Ta!
