I'd make a good commentator as I seem to have that same skill.

You have the same skill as eulogising and singing players praises?  ;D

Dear oh dear, that wasn't very good at all was it. Your right, big question marks against him now and the new management will probably be more prepared to axe him.

Seems like he’s not sure if his game at the moment. Definitely out of touch and low on confidence. He probably can’t complain if dropped. Everyone talks like Foakes is a cert, but thought he had quite a poor season by his standards last year?

Thing is though Nick if the people who are wicket keeper batsman aren't scoring runs then you go for the better keeper, and that's Foakes.

Two in three balls for the Saffers.

206/8. Game has moved on rapidly today, should be more than enough and I guess a chance we could bowl at them tonight.

Will be interesting because selectors have rarely taken the approach of selecting the best keeper in the last 25 years however the runs being made by the player selected usually compensated for any deficiencies with the gloves. Stewart over Russell and Prior over Foster being the two obvious examples. If Buttler and certainly Bairstow can’t justify their place in the side with runs, then it’s difficult to see them staying in. Interesting decision.

Faf with an incredible catch to get Root out. England all out and SA need 466 to win.

Close of play as well.

Blinding catch from Faf. Root out for 58 and England all out for 248.

466 to win. Close of Play now.

Van Der Dussen what have you just done?

Looped a bit of a drive to short cover 2 short of his maiden Test century.  What a shit way to get out.

From radio commentary, it sounds like he fell into Englands trap perfectly. Was it just a terrible shot?

Sounds like Philander is really struggling with a hamstring injury, so they could effectively be 5 down already.

Pretty much. It was obvious what England wanted him to do. He’s two runs away from his hundred and takes the bait.  Wasn’t really there to drive and just hit it straight to the man who was there for the false shot, if he was on 75 or something he probably would have left it alone.

That tends to be my own personal way of getting out. If a bowler takes some of the pace off his delivery and plops it just outside off stump for the drive. I'll oblige him every time. Can't help it. Nice little dolly to extra cover.

Ooof! Snorter from Broad, Bavuma gloves behind.  Bavuma ends up on the turf on his back trying to get out of the way.

Not sure how you’re expected to play that one!

I couldn't see it anywhere besides the text commentary page, maybe they can't get away with making it more widely available since talkshite have the broadcast rights to this series.
