They lost comfortably to Lyon and drew against Wolves. They are not unbeatable by any stretch of the imagination.

The problem is not even the top teams in this league are beating them. They have played us, Spurs and Arsenal away and won 2 of those. They will most likely smash Man Utd.

We need sides to beat them especially as they are just the absolute best at smashing the crap out of sides lower down in the league.

The difference between City beating Spurs and us drawing against Arsenal is Lamela misses a sitter whilst Lacazette pulls off a top drawer finish. That order of events is not going to happen weekly, and we’ll be on the right side of it at some point.

I could understand if City had gone to Wembley and smashed them 4-0, but they won 1-0 and were fortunate really to escape with that.

People need a bit of patience, it’ll be alright.

We already have been, when Mahrez skied his penalty.

Wolves were also awarded a goal that should not have stood when they played City.

It balances out for the most part, unless you are Manchester United.

Two huge results today. We absolutely battered Bournemouth and they lost for the first time this season

Need to keep this momentum going but to be in this position after 16 games is class

It's going to be a tough title to win as City hold the ball so well. It's going to be hard for most teams to score against them. Having said that we are a very good team also.

It's a nice place to be tough.......top of the league.

What this Chelsea Win truly does is break that "City are Unbeatable" aura. Hopefully rest of the teams in the league stop rolling over and try and make a game out of them.

Doesn’t mean anything yet, but agree with ^ that it at least shows other teams you can get at city, and also shows us that if we keep the pressure on they will feel it. Just keep doing what we’re doing - Klopp won’t let us get carried away, no issues there like.

Exactly. It shows they can and will drop points if put under pressure. The Etihad game is massive but not make-or-break.

We've just got to keep doing our thing.

As for now, nothing wrong with a bit of gloating!

I was thinking exactly that about 20 mins from the end of the Chelsea game. Everybody (footballers included) soaks up the constant glorification of City by the media. Whereas we get arrogance and dirty play. The medias got it all wrong. Hopefully we may start getting a bit of respect now. And teams can go out against City and give 'em a game. Did anyone read that article by that twat Savage today in the mirror? Hope the c*nts got egg on his face yet again!

This is where Henderson could make the difference. The only guy remaining from Roger's team who got to a heartbreaking second place.

His experience will become invaluable as we race towards the end.

If you go at this City team you can rattle them. Chelsea was carving them open when they could counter in quick passes. Its one of the reasons we've gotten under their skin because we thrive on counters. They are not comfortable in their own third. Did anyone else feel that a lot of their players looked like they were running on fumes? Our lot have looked to get fresher as the season progressed. Plus, Silva did a hammy. I don't think its all great there. I wouldn't be surprised if even the Ev managed to get something at the Etihad.
