Are there still replays in the early rounds or will this one go to extra time / pens?

City must be devastated we got Arsenal. We’re the only two teams who can realistically challenge them for the title this season and one of us will be having time off as the comp progresses

They haven't been scrapped yet for 3rd & 4th round but from 5th round onwards it's extra time then penalties.

Reckon we’re looking at £60 plus a ticket for this.
On what basis? The only time I can recall us paying anything over £30 for any domestic away since the price cap came in was for Bournemouth in the LC last month, yet you reckon this will be £60 plus?

Got the Friday night game written all over this no?
Was United vs the shite last round 3

No way with Northumbria bizzies allow the Cup derby there to be in that slot..so

I have a feeling it will be. Arsenal v City was Friday night last season

Looking at £40 then unless the clubs come to a reciprocal agreement to do otherwise

Would be a bit mad to say the least if they charged us £10 for a semi final cup match less than 2 years ago but will charge us £60+ for a 3rd round cup match.

Would love to hear the reasoning behind it from the original poster.

I'd assume its based off the fact their own website shows their tickets for members are up to £110 and the lower tier sections are £60-£70 a ticket

Tbf think anyone with an FA cup away credit will get a ticket for this

Given Wolves and Brighton both dropped to 0 last season with 4.5k allocations

But do they not normally do that for their own supporters for home cup matches? Not thats its right, far from it.

Thats news to me, I know plenty of Arsenal supporters that struggle to get tickets as demand is high.

No one wanted to go when the prices were high and the football was shite

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4905598/Arsenal-record-lowest-crowd-Emirates-Stadium.html

They only had 58k against lens last week, they had 48k against Zurich last season

56k vs AFC Wimbledon in 2021
53k vs forest in late 2019
49k vs brentford in 2018, then 48k against blackpool

Just the 25,000 vs BATE in 2017, and 44k against west ham and doncaster that season

Yeah they usually do, but cups they're notoriously going on general sale etc when they charge stupid prices

They'll sell out because of their league form, Christmas presents etc, but might be a slow one if it's premier league prices

Perhaps wishful thinking but hopefully this from Arsenal's details means we are getting the proper allocation as it mentions the upper :

Family Enclosure ballot

The family enclosure area will not be available in block 26 in the Lower Tier and 117 Upper Tier due to event requirements

Here’s hoping that if that’s the case, remaining tickets after everyone with away credits are sorted, go to those with home FA Cup history rather than straight to ‘all STH/members’.

Both Brighton and Wolves in the FA Cup last season dropped to all seasies/members so I cannot see anything other than them doing the same this time too.
