arsenal are wasting a lot of future transfer funds by paying double what he is worth

good player but you have to set your self a limit on what you would pay

They're probably willing to overpay to get over the line for the title, can't blame them for that, honestly. Who knows what the landscape will be next year.

2nd offer worth up to 70m gone in for Caciedo. That should be that, take it or leave it. Even then it’s probably 20m too much.
Nearer 40m too much if we're honest. But you know, Chelsea....

Arsenal want Caicedo now and Rice in the summer. Kroenke responding the Boehly?

Thank Fowler we're not getting Caulker

Central midfield is the only position where our players are over 26. Partey and xhaka are 29 and 30. Rice and Caciedo are the dream long term replacements for Arteta. After that I expect the signings to stop and if the club is established in CL then, then the once silent Stan Will get his money back.

His personal wealth is twice that of Boehly, so maybe it’s an ego thing, or maybe once the Spotify guy bid 1.5bn for the club and had Henry and the fans on board Kroenke knew it’s time to step up. Maybe it’s our results and Arteta delivering on everything he planned, and faster than planned, that they are very comfortable opening the cheque book. There’s definitely a huge change of policy from the wenger days, they’re acting like different owners.

No, jazz. You fear jazz. You fear the lack of rules, the lack of boundaries. Oh look, it's a fence. But, no, it's soft.

Do you have to abide by FFP if you’re a non-entity in Europe…?

Kroenke to this point has contributed none of his own funds. Won’t know for sure otherwise for almost a year. Boehly isn’t spending his own money either though.

They're acting like it doesn't exist. Basically following Chelsea, Man City & PSG's pattern.

Of course that FFP exists. Only Man City and PSG are cheating it with fake sponsorships that Arsenal and Chelsea don't have. It will be hilarious when both you and Chelsea get into trouble  :lmao

It is wishful thinking, but by you. If there wasn't FFP, Arsenal (or anyone else) won't be able to beat Newcastle to any signing. The reality is, you and Chesea are gambling big, and it will be hilarious once the gamble backfires, with UEFA or with the FA ...

Newcastle aren’t spending so people won’t say they bought success. It’s more PR than FFP.  Watch them Go in the summer.

Saudis don't care what people will say. They are just going by the model set by Man City and PSG. A model that requires a huge amount of fake sponsorships, before you can spend huge. You and Chelsea are not following that model, and therefore you will get into trouble. I know that you are blinded by your accidental title challenge, but you will come down to Earth once Man City do their thing in the spring. Then you will have to deal with your massive FFP minus, that you won't be able to cover. I actually like Arsenal, but I think that all of this will end up in tears for you. Chelsea I couldn't care less about, since I would love to see the Tory bastards relegated to the Championship ...

2 utter bellends. They need to play the sportswashing game a bit better than that. If you want the darling London press to like you and write beautiful things about you, try to sign English players a bit more likeable. Then again, Abu Dhabi did sign Grealish.

I think the more likely outcome is we win the league and sign more players in the summer, because we have no other choice, we either keep up or fall away.

You winning the league is certainly not the more likely outcome. We know this very well from the 2018/19 season (97 points) and 2021/22 season (92 points). You will have to learn your lesson the hard way. The problem for you is, you are gambling too much ...

But it will have an effect once Man City make a £100 million bid for Saka, who will have 12 months left on his contract in the summer.

By the way, here is your current position in the football World:

And this is your spending over the last 3 seasons:

2020/21:   - €66.8 million
2021/22:   - €136.0 million
2022/23:   - €157.3 million

Total:   - €360.1 million

And you want to add £70 million (€80 million) to that by signing Caicedo?

Man City, among others ...

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2066393-manchester-citys-punishment-for-breaches-of-uefa-ffp-regulations-announced

Good god, how ever will clubs cope with being able to name 4 less players in their squads. I'm assuming this is the stuff you're referring to in regards to Arsenal and Chelsea being punished... them being able to name 4 less players in their Champions League squads :lmao :lmao i'm sure their staff are positively terrified

That shite doesn't even qualify as actual punishment. It's like giving a club a fine for their fans racially abusing a player... an act to appear to be doing something to punish a club, without ever actually punishing them
