200 Million spent in the summer, including one of the league's best defenders, to have a negative goal difference half way through the season. They look tragic.

Is Lazio's Luis Alberto the one who played a few matches for us? Fucking hell, he is having a great season and it looks like Barcelona intends to get him. 4 goals 6 assists so far in the league. It's annoying Luis Alberto, Suso and Aspas all did very well after us. Turns out we were very good in Spanish transfers.

They're playing for teams that are 5th, 7th, and 12th in their respective leagues, though.
Better looking than Samie.

It takes a special kind of fraud to gather just one point from the dead last (who hadn't had a single point yet) team on the table and the second one from the bottom while losing to one of them 3-0. Gattuso just achieved that.

FRAUUUUUUUUUUUD.

The sin, just like in Everton's case, is to spend hundreds of millions and not one of those signings is a speedy attacker.

He's looked really impressive this season. His good form seems to have come out of the leftfield a little, though. He barely played at Lazio last season - just four starts, with no major injuries. Under the same manager as well.

So Roma win their game in hand and the top 4 are separated by 2 points. Roma at 16/1 for serie a is tempting, as is inter at 14/1

Talking about Luis Alberto, he just scored another goal tonight. I really hope Lazio makes the Top 4 but it's almost impossible task given how strong top 4 sides are and how inconsistent Lazio has been.

Luis Alberto was never a bad player and we should have utilised him more. Wonderful passer, great vision and can strike the ball exceptionally well

Was gutted we never really used him then just got rid

Agreed, maybe he was not a player for Brendan but we could have just kept him, i think he would've been great in Klopp's system.
Maybe we are lucky charm of Spanish players. Aspas, Luis Alberto and Suso all got a call for the Spanish national team.

AC Milan needs a top to bottom clear out. I mean the club is being run like it's a mid table team and most of their players are of that standard.  :( ???

I watched some of their games, and I agree with you. Many fans were hyping up the likes of Rodriguez for years, I don't think these all turned shit overnight.

You could add Suso, too, for whom Milan apparently had offers from England (Spurs). There is a decent team in there, may not be a top team, but certainly not as shit as they have been. Goes on to show the importance of a top manager really. For years, Milan have experimented with bunch of young managers none of whom are quite that good. Gattuso himself has been talking big as a manager, but he doesn't seem up to it himself.

Must be the case study in how players can look great or terrible in different teams/systems/coaches.

The wailing in here when we didn't go after Bonnucci this summer!

Obviously a class player, but way more than just getting a player in.

With Berlusconi hitting the riches again, I will not be surprised if he ends up buying Milan back for cheap and then investing again in the squad. They first need to get in a proper manager though. Gattuso is a lot of talk, very little substance.

Isn't Milan just bought by the Chinese rich last summer?
