Agreed  :(

Long gone are the days of Richie Aprille and Ralph cifaretto

Yeah Richie Aprille really makes season 2, he was just fucking perfect, you could cast 1 million other actors and never find someone as good as him. Just how small he was and yet one of the scariest people ive ever watched. Brilliant. At a point Johnny Sac was also as scary to watch, he just had that look in his eyes that he could snap at any minute!

Bobby says something about him that summed him up along the lines of 'such a big stature for such a small man.' He must be half the size of tony and yet he never took shit off him even tho he was boss, never stepped down and as tony says always had the 'manson lamps' on! haha fuckin loved richie, stupid fuckin janice!!

What really made me upset about the latest episode is where tonys in bada bing! and he asks sil 'is chris around?' and sil looks at tony almost confused and says 'you know he dont come round here anymore.' It hit me like a brick wall, fuck me things have changed and not for the better! I'd give anything for a scene where there all sitting around breaking balls like the good old days, tellin jokes and stories, just one more 'just when i thought they i was out...they pulled me back in!' If season 6 was the first season of the sopranos you wouldnt even know they were in the mafia!!! They never do any gangster type things anymore, its all downhill from here on in boys :(

Well, apart from the shooting in the restaurant? The murder Bobby carried out in the episode before that? Not your usual every day sights.

Both episodes have been good I thought. And that latest one just makes me think that the ending is going to be Christopher killing Tony which is what I've thought may happen for a while...

Realtarragona - since you've got Paulie as your avatar - any thoughts as to whether he may be meeting a Big Pussy-type end in the next episode?  The preview certainly made it look that way!

Will have to watch it again, do you have a link?

Anyway, the previews always mislead you so I doubt he's getting killed off. Even though it wouldn't surprise me to see Phil kill one of Tony's crew soon enough. Especially with what he was saying at the end about his brother.

No link - just what was on HBO at the end of Sunday's episode.  I sort of doubt it too but then again....  Tony never did really "settle up" for Paulie's indiscretions with Johnny Sack and Carmine Sr.

Thought the last episode was very very dark. No wishy washy shit. A lot of tention between the main characters.  Personally I see Chris and maybe Tony getting whacked but not sure by who.

I met an old Mob guy a couple of weeks ago. He was John Gotti's personal bodyguard and is still built like a brick shit house. Had a lot of very interesting stories. He told me the Mob is truly a shadow of its former self and a lot of the old crews disbanded as there was too much heat on them after Gotti went down. Most now have legitimate businesses. He is no longer involved as
1) he said the old Gotti crew no longer exists so he could get out and
2) He has totally changed his life and found God in a big way. He started a home in Texas for kids and disfunctional adults. It seems like a tremendous place and he is doing a lot of good for some messed up people.

Told me an interesting story about shooting up his mansion with an AK 47 because he was so messed up on drugs and depressed.

Think the repercussion was Tony making him 'pop his cherry' so to speak.  And carmella says tonys 'not a vindictive man', if only she knew!

Seen eps 1&2 now, so up to speed. Liking the way the tensions are slowly cranking up; Philly L, Chris, even Carmella (who I would definitely do- hard). Paulie and Chrissie have been headed for a collision for some time too. Wouldn't bet against Janice throwing a spanner in the works either.

This week, with the heat turned up in Jersey, Tony and Paulie head south to cool off. Meanwhile, Junior rekindles some of his old fire in a poker game. Watch Episode 80: "Remember When" this Sunday at 9PM

This looks like a really cool episode, its got flashbacks to Tonys father and a young Junior which are always good.  FBI find a body so Tony and Paulie head south, theres somebody getting whacked by like 3 guys with gloves on, beanzys in it as well!! I dunno about this next one i could see someone big getting hit and im thinking Paulie (hope not cos the guys a legend!)

Downloading, but not really had the time (plus can't find them too easily - never used torrents so always used p2p stuff for last season.)

Have watched the first episode on a stream last week

you should really try and use torrents for them if you know how, its amazing how fast you download them and they get uploaded about an hour after they are shown in america, takes me about 30 mins to download a whole episode.  Without giving too much away about this episode i'll just say i loved it!

Way ahead of you, Mr Chase is. This week's ep is about exactly that- reminiscence, glory days, the decline that comes with age...

I don't like the sound of that. Can see Mr Walnuts being killed off sadly...

Also, thought I knew what was going to happen roughly at the end, Tony being killed by maybe Christopher (the Adriana thing) or someone from New York but the last two episodes have made me rethink. He doesn't seem far off being a broken man so who knows how it'll end now...

I've thought the whole structure of the story (in its entirety) would lead to Moltisanti being the catalyst for the ultimate resolution... and after last night's ep I'm more convinced than ever.
