Wow...Their first chance in ages at playing first and putting the pressure on and they've royally fucked it up. Looked really poor tonight as well to be fair, Newcastle were awful for an hour but city never looked in any danger of getting a second. Three tough games coming up for them now but it has to be said that arsenal and Chelsea of late should be fairly easy pickings...but you never know. The margin for error grows wider but we have to keep digging in. Tomorrow will be a really tough game, Leicester haven't been great but they've got players who can cause us problems especially with Virgil out. We will have total confidence however, what an opportunity. Huge night ahead.
win and make it 8. That means we could still lose a couple of games and still be ahead.
Put £5 down for newcastle win and utd draw...made £550...fuck me i got a ridiculous boner
Not if we continue to win our matches it won't be. But this is the problem with people who keep on looking ahead all of the time and worrying about what City are going to do. Take each game as it comes, don't even think about what City may or may not do. Just concentrate on ourselves we cannot influence what happens with City but we can with our own team. Otherwise we may as well hand the title over now.
Yes indeed.
Exactly. 15 wins to go, City is irrelevant.
This is how I've handled the season so far. Think it was Wolves or Palace that beat City but I didn't hear about it til the following day, suddenly we're 7 points clear. I was positively shocked.Seems we need to ignore what they're doing and simply carry on supporting our team. Let's face it, when we kick off, nothing else really matters, does it really.

Sticking to RAWK I am. Real forum, real mods, real fans, fair and unbiased opinions etc..etc..
If we win it’ll be 7.
Not that I don't understand the appeal of this or anything. But you lot missed a hell of a night if you really meant what you said.
The Arsenal and Chelsea games just became a lot harder for them though because the pressure is a lot more. They were expected to beat Newcastle and find it tougher against Arsenal and Chelsea.
None of it alters the fact that if we want to win the title, we have to do it ourselves. We are in a great position providing we do the business from now on in.
I like this feeling of winning by not even playing. However there are still lots of games left and we need to keep winning right up to the end.
It's nerve wracking enough with our games though, without fretting about theirs too!
Of course, nobody is saying otherwise. But whether you "care about City" or not, nights like these do add to the fun of a title race.
And both Arsenal and Chelsea will be desperate to prove their relevance by beating City, too. Guardiola's been impeccable in those top six games, mind, but if we can make it a gap of 7 then it's tough to go into games like that knowing that you'll probably need maximum points just to stay in touch.
