It will be interesting to see Leicester take on Arsenal. I think they may expose the gap between the sides as bigger than expected, especially defensively. Arsenal are just a mess.

They have to show everyone a minimum number of times, so better they get rid of one for each of them on a night when less people are going to be watching anyway.  ;D

Certain amount of Friday slots to fill as well, not gonna be much choice on a European week

Personally I'd have gone with Southampton v Everton, last time Southampton were at home on a Friday night they got twatted 9-0 so it'll be an easy Everton win, what could possibly go wrong? ;D

They’ve infiltrated a game that doesn’t even involve them. An even more impressive protest in my eyes.
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

I'm still not entirely sure what the official PL stance is regarding when linesmen are meant to flag for offside and when refs are supposed to whistle for it? Seems different every time.

They seem absolutely baffled by it. It shouldn't be difficult, outline the protocol and make sure all officials stick to it.

They’re meant to flag I believe but the ref not blow up

That in itself is daft but sure that’s what was said pre season

Then why on earth are the refs blowing their whistle, why are commentators not questioning it and why's it being allowed to keep happening?

It’s the main thing that needs addressing.

It should never be wrong again

Firmino goal v Villa is a perfect example. Put his flag up like ‘fuck VAR I’m still important’

Linesmen could effectively be completely replaced now and they know it

Some bad defending and bad decision making in the final third from both sides, but outside of that it's been an interesting game. Much better game than how some sides above them play (stale football or hoof football).

I think Norwich's ideas and the way they see the game are right but they're just short of quality in the positions that decide football matches at this level. I hope they remain aware that Farke was ahead of schedule last year and don't pull the trigger on him even if it gets really bad.

Judging by what their hierarchy were saying pre match he’s safe as houses

To be fair, Norwich tend to give managers too long but we've seen teams panic before.

Yeah, from what the sporting director was saying, unless it gets absolutely toxic he'll be fine.

Yes they seem ok

They were saying they’ve spent the premier league windfall on the training ground and youth teams

They acknowledge that it wouldn’t be fair to say “you must keep us up” in that scenario

Their sporting director is the fella who used to be with us - name escaping me!

What a finish that is

How the fuck is Alex Tettey playing in the PL in 2019 though! I get they haven’t spent much money but surely it was worth trying to get someone better than him.

Norwich will go down without so much as a whimper. They're Championship-level at best. What did they expect with no investment.
