Phil Jones keeps his place at RB after his great performance vs Ireland.

Really struggling to remember a worst England side in the last 20 years or so.

So is that Delphi for Milner and Dross for Lallana from the team that shone against Ireland the other day.

It's funny how shit we look yet we are one of only two countries with a 100% record so far. Other countries might think we are quite good just going off results not performances. Our chances will get talked up for next summer and then we'll realize that we haven't beaten a good side in competitive games since 2002.

People being a little too damning... Townsend somehow is usually Englands best player after Rooney & pushing Wilshere further forward in midfield makes sense. Be good to see Wilshere, Sterling & Rooney attacking wise as feel they are on the same wavelength.

Sterling playing in a more central role which i think most agree is his best position and the position he could really become a great player.

Should have scored that but he's definitely more of an influence on games centrally

(not sure if he'll get to play there for Man City often??)

I'd have thought the advantage of having Delph in midfield was to get Wilshere forward more, but the latter still seems to be sitting deep with Delph playing as an attacking midfielder.

It just seems a waste of Whilshere's creative play, he should be the most advanced of the three in midfield.

Also, England desperately lack goalscorers in that team. Townsend and Sterling are threatening and the former has scored a few for England but I'd feel much happier with Walcott in the team as he can play off the wing with pace and still score.

In fact why the hell is Townsend playing ahead of Walcott? Even Vardy is more likely to score, or Barkley.

Sterling is brilliant at picking the ball up wide and beating a full back 1-on-1. We'd get that £50m no problem if he could actually shoot.
