It’s a small sample size, but dayum - https://fbref.com/en/players/bbd67769/Conor-Bradley

Need to find a way to get Trent more central.

Right now, he's our best RB. We look more balanced as a team. Has Trent ever played as a deep-lying midfielder for us? Maybe it's there where he needs to be.

Phenomenal talent.

Will get better and better and better, no matter who manages him.

To step up in a game like that...phenomenal.

Same! It's one of them where if he wasn't a 20-year old just starting out in his senior career, he would have taken it on and had a damn chance of scoring.

Never thought I'd say this but how do you fit him in? Mac and Szobo and cert starters (when fit) and you can't drop Endo the way he's playing.

I’d be happy to play Trent against the dross at home as a 6. Maybe he’ll develop enough in that position to play there full time. He becomes our deep lying creator. Can’t see him ever being better than Dom, Jones or MacAllister as advanced 8s. Also though, Bradley has been fantastic but Trent at his best is a better RB than Bradley is right now. We just need the Trent that was a good defender on top of being a world class creator back. We used to talk about him dominating his flank, nowadays we don’t do that.

Grew into the game and put in an excellent performance. Got caught out a few times in the first 10-15 minutes, then settled in really nicely. Top player.

Good interview with him on tnt although I found them asking how bad its been for the team injury wise etc was a bit weird/funny since he lost his da in that time.

Almost feels like we are taking this lad for granted now. His time to settle into big games and his composure, passing, ball retention, attitude makes it feel like he’s been playing PL level right back for years. Great to see.  Another solid game today, against United, coming up…

Can’t understate the importance of his GAA background either. Most GAA players I know are incredible athletes - that mix of lithe but incredibly tough mentally and physically. The physicality of the PL is nothing compared to Gaelic football.

I think this is nonsense. He joined Liverpool when he was 16 so it’s at least 5 years ago. Not sure how playing a bit of Gaelic football in your teens has big impact on your ability to be a top level footballer.
I think Jookie might just be the best fisherman on this thread.

I wish people would watch the game rather than dive into individual players threads. We know its a squad game now, it could have been Gomez or Bradley being rested from the start as both have played a lot of games recently.

He almost did everything right at the very end with the 2 on 1. If he didn't have that little stumble, he would have forced the player further out wide and narrowed that angle down

He has been really good for us so far but I think he could do with a bit of time out of the firing line, hopefully Trent is back soon.

Bit of a worry how he struggled aerially at the end given some of the teams we have coming up

An off day but after the heights he's hit recently, it's kind of expected.

A good learning experience for him. Onwards.
Mark my words. Top 8 will be a massive struggle.
We won't make any big signings this season and we will go back to being a top4 club.

Stranded on their winner and I thought he was exposed a fair bit before that too.  Not really much he could do, we were so loose as a team when he came on.

Diallo did very well to feint him before finishing. Without doing that, Bradley would have blocked him or narrowed the angle. The feint put him off-balance and he had to careful to avoid giving a pen away.

It was just good play.
