All these 37 year olds fucking 'retiring' into a life of absolute luxury

Im 36 self employed and starting to get pretty terrified about the future and how and if I can do my current job at 70

Not bad being a footballer is it?

Should've tried harder in my under 7s team.

I know I shouldn't get wound up by these things but how on earth is Suarez' goal vs Newcastle not part of this? :butt :butt

Unbelievable isn't it? Such a backward way of doing things.

Lowton's volley and Suarez's against Newcastle were both better than half of these goals.

Doing it on goal of month winners seems like a complete cop-out. There could be many goals that didn't win in their individual month, but are better than the winners from other months, that don't get included this way.

And besides, you know they'll just give it to Bale anyway so the whole thing is academical.

Surely if they didn't win the goal of the month they have 0 chance of winning goal of season?

It never won goal of the month, Garth Crooks or whoever it was chose Defoe ahead of it, so they weren't allowed to have it

It really was but I think his similiar goal last season against Everton was better.

What if two world class goals were scored in the same month though? And what if that arbitrer of great goals Dion Dublin gets to decide?

Off the top of my head, three of my favourite goals this season were Suarez, Lowton and Remy (can't remember who against, the one he hit first time on the break). None in the top 10 though!

Criminal indeed. Everyone's been overlooking it. Probably cos he only scored one.

Much better strike from Van Persie though.
