Just want a thread away from all the post match frustrations to pay tribute to our boys for all their efforts this season.

Almost unprecedented, a painful end but still two trophies. Ignore any piss takers from the outside trying to have a laugh at us. Almost all of them would have loved to have had our season.

We’ll be even more motivated next season. We’ll get off to a flier and we’ll challenge again.

Thanks Jurgen. Thanks to all players and staff. Hope they get the reception they deserve tomorrow.

One of the best teams we'll ever watch, maybe the best ever. Huge credit to them this season. There's always work to be done but privileged to watch this squad play and we've got Jürgen on a new contract

We went for the impossible and just came up short. We haven’t spent the most money or pay the biggest wages, but we have the best manager and a squad willing to fight for the club. Two pots is a good season, and whilst we came up short in the big two we were there at the end fighting to the finish.

I’m sure we’ll get the usual suspects saying ‘see? This is why we shouldn’t have arranged a parade’ over the next 24 hours. It’s just a phenomenal team, they deserve so much praise. It all probably caught up with us in the last few weeks, injuries to key players just when we didn’t need it.

Built a team that literally competed right to the bitter end in all competitions and ultimately 1 point and 1 goal short of winning everything.

Really admire your optimism mate , but reading the post match comments I’m not sure some fans even follow the same team as some of us.

Fuck it. Was a season that had us dreaming and on the edges of our seats in equal measure.

We got two trophies and came damn close to two more.

Trojan effort from Klopp, his coaching staff, the entire squad and everyone else involved with the club not least those roaring them on from the stands every week.


Been a really great season and one that will hopefully spur this group to go again next season.

Well done and thank you, Liverpool Football Club. You gave wings to dreamers all over the world and told us it was ok to fly.
